    Dogs, like us humans are defined by how much graft they do in their prime .The more they do the faster the body wears out.The saying hard work never killed anyone is bollocks take it from me .To expect a terrier to graft when the mind is strong but the body is week speaks volumes about the owner .If someone expected me to shovel 20 tons of soil at my age I would tell them to do one but 20 years ago I would just do it .Use your commen sense as to when your grafter has had enough physically .No shame in retirement .

    IMO I would say to anyone who dosnt have the foresight,long term plan ,to stay away from lines as enough have been bastardised by those with only the here and now in mind .Buy a worker ,hopefully it will work then get it neutered .

    Very cincal Glyn but sadly true .There are those that have the real deal but all too often as soon as it gets away from them its on a downward spiral .This to me is the sole reason why in some areas the terrier game is so clicky and for good reason too .I cannot for the life of me understand why a lad would get hold of a line bred terrier then when its done a bit ,put it over a mongrel of unknown breeding just because it works .The pups look similar to x and are passed off as such .

    Any dog can be trained to blood trail ,its very easy to train a youngster with a jug full of blood from a chest shot gralloch by laying a trail to a piece of liver ,kidney .The amount is then reduced until only spots are layed .We are in the process of training a young lurcher owned by my daughters boyfriend .Let's not confuse hot scent trailing with blood trailing as the former can lead you into trouble with the law as it stands .All dogs will scent trail but we choose to steer them onto whatever the day is about .With the terrier breeds blood trailing I would be concerned about earths but pr

    Someone must know something .People just don't evaporate.Rob Kepner and Terry Waldren or Walden .Both about 40 years old maybe bit younger .Kepner is tall ,about 6,2 and short hair and definitely Welsh .Waldren /Walden is about 5,8 and shaved head and a bit wild. Kepner has two of my bitches ,has had them for 3 years but mention breeding and he goes off the radar .There was a suggestion he's been caught digging the wrong un but that seems to have been a lie .

    Worked in Bristol university long time ago and we used have our lunch in a long green house tunnel type .The gardener had a fox come regular and would let us throw bits of food for it but never came in .It lead out in the sun on his borders in the walled garden we were repairing taking no notice of 4 lads chipping away at the pointing to repoint .The owner of the firm we were on for turned up one day and let his Russel out which raced about putting up charlie that casually ran up a corner of the 8 ft wall and stood on top looking down at the frenzied pet .I honestly think it could of done 15
