    Fields around us now like a holiday camp ,all day every day so I’m taking dogs at night .Waiting on the inevitable badger trouble though which is sure to happen with two terriers .

    At the start of the lockdown ,my feo said pest control was ok and that I could produce the email if stopped .Yesterday that changed and I had an email to say stick to gov rules as well as a follow up call to make sure I’d received email . We no longer have any excuse to be out beyond essential .

    What I meant was ...... If a lad is in the game ,hunting ,terriers ,lurchers and them bushing things he will usually know someone who has a pup or two on .I could source any one one of the above within a week if I needed and good dogs too .

    Lock down ,don’t make me laugh .Asda in Melksham fecking heaving.Couldnt keep 2 m away from people if you tried . Just poured a footing we had open and concrete company no plans to shut down . Either we are in lockdown or we fecking ain’t .This in between ,no knowing ,will be the start of an Italian trend mark my words . No proper guidance on self employed payment so all builders I know cracking on . Boris did nothing for this country except create more uncertainty . lockdown should mean lockdown with home deliveries the only way to shop ffs .

    I’m not a panic buyer but If I see toilet rolls for sale I’m buying the fecking lot .Dont care if it’s a pallet full I’m having it . Been around 4 major stores on way home from work and can’t find a fecking roll anywhere .We are down to 3 so the weekend will see us using twenty pound notes to wipe our arse .

    Anybody serious at trapping them would do double figures a week here mate at certain times of the year ,now being one of them . I used to trap for the local angling club and did very well to the point I was wandering everywhere for just that one more lol.Ill try find out some old pics of back in the day lol.

    We are just starting a biggish extension and in two minds whether or not to buy a huge chunk of the gear needed before merchants shut down .Getting very iffy out there lads .

    Wife tried to do a shop last night in Sainsbury’s and all the meat gone ,frozen and fresh .Freezers cleaned out and most of the tins gone .They say the yanks are buying up ammo like crazy in case of looting so might be time to max the holding requirement on your ticket . Dosnt seem real but I’ve a feeling it’s only just getting started .

    We’ve been shooting a dairy farm for best part of two months now on the rats .Weve had 543 to date plus this evenings 41 so 584 .Some big uns here too Farmer had asked if I’d look round for a fox that had taken a few ducks recently so stuck the .223 in as well .While I was looking for the fox ,mate stayed back and carried on ratting . Wasnt long before a fox came up a fence line to the duck enclosure and I shoot it about 160 paces .Small vixen which fitted with farmers description . Took it to the dairy for the farmer to see in the morning .Put the .223 away and got the air gu

    Be a lot of people asking for a break in the mortgage payments if that’s still available .Thankfully we are mortgage free but still got to live .
