    No probs mate .Very few lads locally who fly birds at quarry .Few have birds but ornaments ? Son in law had a Harris last year ,mediocre really but still fun .Kept his flying free in open faced flight .Neighbour had a Russel that barked none stop at the bird so he made the decision to pass it on .Should of boarded the front but there tis . Dogs since died but he’s pulled the flight down .

    Mate had red tail female and was a machine mate .I know the goss is aggressive but she was too .Tried to arse end a fox one evening after a pulled up hare .Left the flight to tackle a fox two fields away .We got there just in time to save her that day and let fox go . Ive thought about a goss for years but other interests getting in the way .Got loads of rough perm ,plenty of pheasants and duck . You ever down south mate you’d be more than welcome here few days .

    Yes mate agreed .First bird was a common buzzard but only good for an introduction to the sport .Tried everything but wouldn’t put in for anything .Hacked it back to the wild and saw it for few years then gone .You ever had Harris mate .

    Used to fly a Harris mate .Got drowned by a coot ,totally my fault .Flew him at a duck and a coot got his attention and game over under an embankment . Had him lamping and his highlight ,a hen pheasant .

    You need to keep on it mate . Years ago we had a bobbery mink pack and drafted in two ex fox hounds from Oxford .They were slow but not slow enough to lift the pack when they crossed a fox line .Few sharp taps and a couple kills later they were wed mate .It will be one hound usually .Keep a check on first speaker and see if he’s true .If your country is sparse on the right stuff you need a draft from a pack that’s true .Hounds being pack animals are quick to follow first speak and unless checked sight hunt the pack instead of scenting .The older wed hounds will see through it but youngsters f

    That protection been lifted mate .Being killed by the thousands every year now .Like a desert round us places now regarding them BUT hedgehogs are making a comeback and ground nesting birds are doing better .Flocks of golden plover returned for first time in years and found several lapwing nests unmolested back in spring ,Won’t ever be on the endangered list though as pockets left who weren’t in the cull .Overall a good thing really I think . As for eating one ,no thanks .Carnivores ain’t for eating in my book ,
