    Our parents generation had higher child mortality than we had ,hence larger families . My Dad was one of 8 ,two of his siblings died before they were 10 of maladies no longer a threat .

    Yep .The fuse spur does exactly the same as a fuse in a plug .

    Fuses protect the pugged in product from surge overload .Most house hold appliances are 13 amp ,kettles etc .Amps over the recommended fuse size for appliance have potential to cause fires by burning out wiring .Fuses cut all electric to an appliance when blown . Years past people to used to put a nail in house hold wire fuses which was the cause of many a house fire .Today’s micro breakers have all but eliminated that .

    From what I can see they are two different fuse connections each with inbuilt fuse .There is no problem linking the switches ,just needs wiring properly Taking a plain switch off a fuse spur would be the no no .

    Proven fact that kids need discipline .     Your not wrong ,Farmers that actually help themselves with any form of pest control are few and far between . Trying to get one farmer to move a few bales at moment that I know are infested with rats .I mean infested ,next to his brewers grains pile but he ain’t interested .Just have to shoot them rather than terriers . Ive got a unit on one farm that is now getting the attention of a commune of rats burying underneath to feed in his feed passage . Would be very easy to move it with his loader and extended forks but he hasn’t the time apparently .Strange how every time I’m there he’s

    Mate ,if you think there’s just the one then think again .I’m amazed at the numbers must travel for miles to visit the sheds just to sample chicken .I been at my spot all night just watching and as one filters away another one does exact same route in and out followed by another and another .One slot in time dosnt quite cover the comings and going’s of a fox magnet like an organic chicken farm .

    Deadly mate .The agreement last time was that he or his workers would check the snares and let me know straight away if I had a catch alive but that wasn’t adhered to so I pulled them .I witnesses a fox actually getting snared for first time ever .I did the evening rounds on that other place you’ve been John and walked past couple of snares still set ,got about 120 m from the first when something caught my eye .A fox was in that first snare .Instead of rushing to it I watched for a while curious to see what happens .The fox did the expected figure of eights and backflips but then sat quietly a

    Intensive shooting can and will reduce numbers drastically .The first 3 years of doing the chicken farm I now do saw incredible numbers shot off a quad with rifle and shotgun .The husbandry back then was none existent .Dead stock left for scavengers and chicken not shut up til well into darkness .We did 90 plus first year ,one farm .Farmer wanted to pay 10 er a piece from outset but we soon realised the numbers were going to be high so we stopped that first week .Next year we did 160 odd purely because we got to know the routes and escapes plus she let us dig the many earths on the farm .
