    Second to disease and the obnoxious phostoxin ,ferreting is THE most devastating effect on rabbits when done in ernest . We were at plague proportion 1996 ,I remember it well .Everyone had ferrets back then and dealers paying well for carcasses .Even a dedicated society for rabbit clearance back then locally .The Marlborough downs rabbit clearance society it was called .     My line of work depends on first and foremost local authority ,corrupt from top to bottom .This area is booming at moment with many schools etc scrambling to make the most of grants issued early on .Those grants are for building works ,improvements and refurbs but dosnt cover new builds . The private sector is where the strife is at moment with many understandably holding onto money and cancelling agreed contracts .There is no legal comeback in Uk to claw back money from said contract in private sector .Plans drawn up ,time spend and engineers reports cost thousands but is a dead horse fo

    As a company ,I’ve now lost 259 thousand pounds worth of work due to COVID but as an individual not entitled to a penny of gov money as I’m a director .Don’t need it but be nice to get a bit of tax money I’ve payed back off the coffers ?

    I don’t mate just a honest feeling .It lasted for a month and I never get colds or flu .Loads of people locally will say same .Whatever it was it ripped through my area very fast . I was told at pharmacy if you havnt got it at the time of testing you won’t test positive .I’m no scientist so can’t comment further .

    Apparently it’s no good getting tested if you’ve had it and I’m not sure what the crack is with the antibodies test as every time I’ve asked at our local pharmacist I get fobbed off with they can’t get hold of them .Phoned health service who said contact local pharmacy ?

    Worked through it myself ,banging head ache and the cough but no lack of taste etc . We’ve been fed a good un no matter what stance you take on it and I’m not sure life will ever be the same again if I’m honest . Building site near me ( nothing to do with my work ) is saying no jab ,no work in 2021 ? . Buying the jab ahead of the queue is getting very real .

    Well written reply Chris .It’s the speed it’s been concocted that concerns me .I’m convinced I’ve had the virus back in November last year ,all my workforce had same as well as my wife .I’d like an antibody test but all attempts thus far have been thwarted .

    To be perfectly honest if it meant not being able to go abroad without it ,then I’d probably get it despite saying otherwise earlier .Abroad holidays and travel for shooting are what I’d miss if pressed on the issue .Yes it’s against my will but life’s too short to be tethered to this island for the rest of it .
