  1. The way they name storms is alphabetically, mans name A , womans name B, mans name C etc etc
  2. Good post Glyn. Which dogs are in the third pic from the bottom?
  3. Looks like it's going to be a best seller lol
  4. I've always found B&F to be decent and helpful. And they sell some decent stuff too. I'm not interested in boycotting them or whatever but I think they need to offer some sort of guarantee or protection against customer details being leaked as it isn't good and doesn't fill you with confidence.
  5. The story Ive said about a lad I know is totally true. At the end of the day B&F are a business and it makes sense that every product they sell that they will keep the buyers details so they can advertise to them in the future. I haven't bought anything from them with my details for over 10 yrs and I still get booklets etc from them. Same as EDRD. I get leaflets etc from that and I last subscribed in '07.
  6. Obviously it's a rare occurance that a dog is lost with a collar on. But it has made me think what about the lads that sell collars they've bought brand new? Is their name and address forever linked with that collar?
  7. I know what you're saying mate but I don't think their aim was to re-unite dog with owner. I think it was to press forward with a prosecution.
  8. As far as I know the dog was lost. It was handed to the vets by a member of the public with the collar on and working bites on it. The collar was traced back to the lad. A lad on here was there the day they lost the dog and can verify my story.
  9. This happened about 6 years ago. I would imagine it was the Police rather than anybody else that had the powers to do so.
  10. Yes. A mate of mine lost a dog with a collar on. Days later he had either a phone call or a visit (can't remember which) saying his dog was at the vets and the collar was registered to him. This is fact not hearsay.
  11. Instead of advertising with their propaganda shite and accusations. Why didn't they trace the collar owner via Bellman and Flint and get in touch with the owner that way? They can do it as they've done it to lads I know.
  12. Recieved my new T bar from Mad4it yesterday. Great lad to deal with and well made product. Thanks again mate.
  13. I know a lot of regular owners that put locator collars on their dogs in case they run off whilst walking. What's happened to that dogs face probably happened whilst the RSPCA had it. Theyve been known for it in the past.
  14. I found a perfectly preserved skull in a kick out down in Devon a few years ago, the jawbone still moved perfectly. I brought it home with me but for the life of me I can't remember where I put it!lol
  15. Fair enough mate. I haven't read the full thread through but it would be nice to hear lads who have dug both sides of the pond to give a genuine view of how the game compares.
  16. How do they compare to our quarry Dilly? Or are they totally different work wise?
  17. Coors light is a nice refreshing bottle. All the better when it's 'Damme cold'.
  18. Its not a bolting dog then. Its a digging dog. And we're not talking about style of work we're talking about the job they do. The best digging dogs bay and stay.Theyre not all hard , mute things. And to me a bolting dog is one that will go in, rattle a foxes cage, get in their faces, take a step back or show a couple of times until the fox shifts its position and bolts. If the fox refuses to move then the dog will re-surface with no bolt occuring. If the dog stays for a period long enough to be dug out then it's not a bolting dog.
