  1. I'd be staggering out of there pissed every night if that was in the garden WK! Lol
  2. Has anyone got a link to view where to buy the book as I'm not on facebook?
  3. I'm not just talking collars HPR I'm saying in general.
  4. Alcapone I understand your concerns but I think you're approaching it the wrong way. Why not contact the man himself and explain your problem to him and if he says 'f*ck off' and isn't interested then fair enough come on here and slag the product off. You've come on here all guns blazing but just remember we're a niche market and products like Strongstuffs and Bellman & Flint etc are a blessing to us and we'd be in a poorer place without them. Just a thought.
  5. I really rate the collars for strength etc but Im totally with you on the clips. And all my mates say the same. For some reason the dogs seem to be able to unclip them really easy. I'd say it's more to do with where he's sourcing the clips from rather than his designs. The trigger on the clips seems to sit too proud of the clip and are easy to snag and come loose. Im sure he'd listen to constructive criticism and take what you're saying on board. I've always found him to offer a great service and posts stuff literally the same day you order it.
  6. Lovely photo Starting Out. The bitch on the right looks a nice stamp.
  7. The Sean Frain Patterdale book is all about Brian. And its pretty crap.
  8. Give up whist you think your ahead.I'm not giving up. From personal experience I still totally believe that rifles are the main killer of foxes where I am and where I hunt. I just know what an argumentative twat you are so I can't be arsed to run it for pages and pages.
  9. But it can only catch once until it's reset. A gun can fire and fire again. You get my drift we'll leave it at that lol.
  10. If your up in the hills then yeah I'd agree thermal is limited due to the terrain. Where I am it's pretty flat fields and it's a different ball game.
  11. All keepers aren't like you then mate. Some see every fox as a pest and will do whatever means necessary to eradicate as many as they can. I disagree on the snaring argument too. Id say rifles account for more foxes than all snares, dog lads and hunts combined around where I live and the surrounding area.
  12. It's nice to hear there's still hope for the wildlife then. The keepers up here are out 5 days a week with the b*****d annihilating everything. One keeper I know said they dont even use the lamp anymore. Look for foxes with the thermal, and then use the night vision on the rifle and BANG! As Jim Royle would say 'Sportsmen my ARSE!'
  13. Can they see into woods? Or is it literally just open land they can see?
  14. Isnt there a Facebook page called that too Danny?
  15. I reckon eventually they'll make a device where you can see through the ground like an x-ray to see the dog. Like the thermal night vision we have now. Technology knows no bounds!
  16. I still use the Pieps boxes. I have 2 and until they stop working I won't be replacing them.
  17. How much did you pay in the end Lee?
  18. It's always like that on here. Usually a better place on there.
  19. They're like kids on there at the minute in the lurcher section. I've never read so much tripe. Bickering and bitching.
  20. Moochers and Hardcore Hunting used to be great. But the masses came pouring in and thats when they go tits up. The old Patt BBS site was good while it lasted.
  21. That would explain the bad feet on the one on the right then? Miniature Russell type feet. The one one the left is the absolute spit of a bitch up here . Same stance, pricked ears everything.
