  1. I thought that too. Same writing style and from same area.
  2. Bolters are usually renowned for the job because they give the fox enough room to bolt. Whereas a digging dog won't give them the same luxury.
  3. A terrier lacking because it can only work fox!,ill have your cast offs.Do you think there isn't something lacking if they'll only work a fox? I could easily live with such a terrier.I didn't slate such a dog. I said they're handy but aren't to breed off or strive towards.I don't think we're reading from the same hymn sheet.

  5. I agree but not every fox is a 'hard run Welsh fox'. They're the exception rather than the rule. Don't take the post personally, it's my opinion and that's all.
  6. That's fair enough, it's your preference and your choice. I think differently but there's nothing definite to say who's right or wrong. We all have differing opinions.
  7. I'd say because there's something lacking if they'll only work fox.
  8. And it's produced a better overall terrier IMO. Can't beat a handy sized fox bitch, but that's where they end. They're not something to breed from or aim towards. (In my opinion)
  9. Sounds like a nutcase. How about keeping a muzzle on him until he breaks the habit or smear something spicy in his tail?
  10. Will have a look King. Thanks mate.
  11. How much surface area roughly would you say a tin would cover? Thanks.
  12. That is a good idea King thanks. Did it not look a bit too bright or did it look ok?
  13. It's a decent book, I must have read it a hundred times when I first got dogs.lol.
  14. I have the same issue. Slip Lead how do you apply the sealer? How long does it take to dry? Also would brushing it out every day wear the sealer away?
  15. Nightmare. There was a bundle of books on there a few weeks ago. They included Dig Deep, Little Dogs and a few others that are quite rare and the full lot went for £140. It's just a case if catching them at the right time.
  16. One sold on there for £90 yesterday Lee that I was watching. You usually get a few bargains approaching the Xmas period.
  17. What a lovely looking animal. If I ever get another lurcher thats the type Id want, a good height too.
  18. Altbergs are nice but are too lightweight if you plan on doing any digging.
  19. That's the type I think of when I hear of Park bred dogs.
  20. Fair prices. I was hoping to spot one I don't have but I've got every one! Good luck I'm sure they'll all go.
