  1. I think it depends on how people use a shovel, if you dig it in too deep and the the ground won't budge but you're still putting pressure on it then it's logical that it's going to snap imo.
  2. Either way you're not missing much, died a death on there at the minute...
  3. I prefer a strong dog myself, I was referring back to the post before mine that said he'd kill a fox 'with a bite'.
  4. Bedlingtons are different, they suit having a long tail. Normal terriers look terrible with an undocked tail imo.
  5. Looking after them is key, waxing them every month takes 5 minutes and will keep them going a lot longer.
  6. Dig4glory there's a pic of it in darcys first now terrier book.
  7. The pics I've seen I doubt he'd reach a fox, looked like a staff.
  8. Very true! I don't know what it's like everywhere else in the UK, but up here I've noticed a lot of people now have Patterdales as pet dogs. Hopefully they won't end up as the Border, Russell, Lakelands etc have gone...
  9. There's a chapter about this dog in Darcy's first small terrier book I think.
  10. Looks built for the job, good luck...
  11. That's a good offer, have you not got no mates around you that you can give her too instead of someone you don't know?
  12. I can imagine there isn't many left now?
  13. Yes they're good G. Long time no speak, hows things?
  14. Ended up getting the countrycovers bib and brace set, pricey but look like they will last for a few seasons. Anyone else tried these ones?
  15. Go on Carter's website, they have some decent stuff on there.
  16. Ring them and they will take it back and fix it. My mate has had a similar problem and reckons that they said you have to turn them and off every few days otherwise the battery dies.
  17. Been looking for a decent set of bib and braces for season coming for digging, has anyone got any recomendations on any, seen a pair of deerhunter ones that look good but if someone can recommend better it would be a great help, thanks.
