    hi SS25 as mentioned above a good de-grease and polish & de-burr & tight fitted guide and top hat,will sort out your twang! i will agree with Vizlauk,a friend of mine bought one for his AATX, and we also binned them,they were loose fitted and did not remove the twang! however i have learnt now,that you can send you spring to Tinbum,and he will fit the guide & top hat to your spring,these are custom parts made to a manufactures spec i believe? and as we all know springs at AA are mass produced/supplied,so as i see it what you are buying is mass produced guide & top

    hi Cedric the top hat may still be in the piston,squirt some degreaser in there and give it a tap a few times ,and see if it falls out. some times they can get caught up in a load of grease and stay there,if they are loose fitted to the spring.

    yes that is the AT,and yes this means you cant service it,or decrease/increase the power. your AAS410 should be fine to use a PCP will probably need a service about 3/4 years,depending on the shelf life of the O rings,which will be around 3/4 years ? put your rifle over a chronograph,this will show if it needs any thing doing to it. if it aint broke,don't fix it accuracy over power any day of the week if your thinking of increasing the power? then watch your groups open up,as the internals are not designed for over sub12ft/lbs. and you could potentially f**

    hi Daz my 97 like's AA Field,dressed with a Hawke sr Pro,don't rule out falcon accuracy plus. if you have a spare 2.5hrs then put a full tin through it in to a solid backstop,will bed it in quickly. but would wait if your getting Darryl to do his magic on it

    hi buddy the SFS Chieftain is going to take some beating buddy,its deadly accurate! the few spring rifles i have bought,i have kept. them being the AATX200HC.177 SFS HW97KT Syn .22 SFS Chieftain .177 and the SFS VHTV Spectre .177 which Si bought me as a friendship present. i do look in here from one day to the other,but as said not as often. as for Si he still has the SFS VHTV Spectre .22 and his SFS Imp .22 which to date are his keepers hope this helps buddy
