  1. Some people will come on here and say anything mate. I mean, I have even heard people say that bull terriers and bull crosses like to fight a bit and are more likely to kill children, than other breeds, ridiculous eh? Also, some of these people will get hold of news reports like http://www.dailymail...d-business.html and http://cnews.canoe.c...0/19860846.html to try and justify their twisted points. I mean, I expect just as many people are killed by Yorkshire terriers!
  2. Thanks for all the advice guys, I was going to ask if I might be better off with a Great Dane cross perhaps a Great Dane x Whippet but the thread got closed down. I think I may have to get a couple of beddy whippets to do the job because these polar bears used my last ten bull crosses as toothpicks and they are eating all the seals migrating up the Thames. Cheers All.
  3. My Husky x greyhound jacked on polar bear on the lamp last night, anybody got any advice as to what I should do now?
  4. Scottish Deerhound - the name should give you a clue - it's what these dogs were bred to do and did very sucessfully over hundreds of years.
  5. Fenn every time. I have given up using bodygrips - too fiddly and too many foul catches for my taste.
  6. Not very fast mate, most of the time they just sit about the fields or hop slowly about nibbling green stuff, so their average speed would be very, very low.
  7. You must have money to burn, they are nice apples but very expensive. we are only a few weeks away from the start of the apple harvest so why not wait until local apples are available cheaply or for free? Local apples I'd be waiting an awful long time I've burnt all my money already Why not put some apple trees in over the winter? Bare root trees are much cheaper than pot-grown and in the fullness of time you will start to get a fantastic crop of the apples of your choice. You could even plant some cider apple varieties!

  9. You cleary don't have any expereince with muntjac. http://s939.photobuc...termuntjac3.jpg http://s939.photobuc...jacheadsno2.jpg The muntjac buck whose head is shown skinned and boiled out took the throat out of a 60lb bull cross which bled out in the field. They look like something prehistoric don't they They are savage things Moll, all my dogs are insured now and this has saved me several thousands of pounds in muntjac-related vets bills, but my oldest friend lost a really good whippet dog to a muntjac buck just three weeks ago.

  11. I guess that you don't have muntjac where you are. Two of my friends have had whippets killed by muntjac bucks in the last couple of years and another mate who is a keeper is under standing orders to kill every muntjac seen on the estate because of the damage done to the landowners whippets by them.
  12. If it was DVLA then car that got clamped had no tax and probably no insurance or MOT either and there's a good chance the owner didn't have a driving licence and/or hadn't passed his/her test as well. I just hope it's your car or your kids that one of these arseholes ploughs into and not mine. idiot,what a thing to say Really? Some of the posters on here are cheering on these tossers who have no business being on the road, like I said, I hope its them who suffers from these unlicenced and uninsured drivers and not me.

  14. Back to the original question, the .22 WMR is perfectly capable of killing both foxes and rabbits, and is a better fox round than the .17 HMR although as with the .17 HMR only head shot rabbits will be useable. You can also legally own a semi-auto .22WMR if this is your thing.
  15. Mine have all had excellent feet and have run over some very bad ground with remarkably few problems. Try taking it to a vet and get a professional opinion on what's wrong with the dog and what needs to be done to put it right
  16. I have got a first edition and it's definitely a photograph not a print on the dust wrapper
  17. :::;........_+... ::;. ' ' '.... .
  18. Most of you lot just have no eye deer, come on guys, buck up! I'm a bit doe-eyed today after my mate's stag night but even I can see that it's a chinese water harrier and Baw is right, you musn't touch the eggs if you stumble across them on fallow ground.
  19. That's rich coming from a Jockistani where the national dress for 'men' is a tartan skirt! Correct we do wear skirts but at least theres no tights under them x I guess the tights would get in the way when you are dancing the 'Gay Gordons!'
