The most capable of people won't want to be in public view/scrutiny/media, the battle will be won behind the scenes , in so much that the UK swamp is primarily civil service who aren't voted for and the treasury etc, I'd love to have a private chat with some of the higher echelons of reform and tell them some information.... The actual faces of these councils etc will be given a mandate to fulfil and in failing will be down the road , currently reform need bums on seats to win a strong majority without the prospect of bringing themselves into disrepute by bringing in unknown with dodgy pa

Same I know a couple , sold up everything but missus couldn't hack it , another guy I know would've thrived but wife didn't want it. I think younger you get out there the better , maybe get yourself an Aussie girl better still lol.

Would I suffer a teachers woke political views , no or at minimum advise my child otherwise. Would my kid be waving flags on a motorway bridge, no but I imagine getting the odd wave or honk is fun. Totally nothing to do with me tbh .

My aunt's place near Philly used to have the archery club in to control deer numbers , her place in Vermont is alive with game , they've trail cams in the garden , one showing a bench one shot of a bear I believe then a cougar spraying the bench then another of my uncle sat on it lol. They got turkeys , wolves , bear , mountain lion , all sorts it's a mile to the post box. I don't think they'll keep the place tbh but certainly a great experience....
