    Two months ago, according to some of the "experts" on here !!! LOL !!! Seriously, I have a 3 month old pup, and I'll be starting her next season, when she's 10 - 12 month old. Starting them to early causes all sorts of problems, both physically and mentaly. Cheers.

    wow no replies must of said something wrong! No one can predict the colour of lurcher pups, there will PROBABLY be brindles, but expect othe colours as well !! As far as dog or bitch, that is an entirely pesonal choice; I've owned both and have no preference, even though I have three bitches at the moment, I had a dog kenneled here during the summer.     Ran them day time, and believe me, there is nothing better !!!! Also lamped them , and yes, I've also shot them !! I'm sure the people who are condeming other peoples sport have never actualy hunted a hare, by ANY method !! Cheers.

    Blair didn't even vote on the Hunting Ban;he absented himself from the vote, and allowed a "free vote", obviously, as Labour had such a massive majority in Parliament, it was passed !! But that b*****d Blair left himself free to tell his rich mates "well, I didn't vote for it " !!!!! But never mind; it looks as though he will be our (unelected) President of Europe !!!! Cheers.

    Tomo, to me, a mans vote is sacrosanct !! I was allways an "OLD" Labour voter, but cannot bring myself to vote for these "New Labour" b*****ds who have usurped the Labour Movement !! As someone who went through the miners strike, I would rather stick pins in my eyes than vote Tory !! So now I vote strategicaly, if the Liberals will keep the Torys and Labour out of my Council, I'll vote for them, even though they have no chance of forming a Government. "New" Labour is finished, a bunch of theiving c**ts led by a mad man, but who will replace them ?????? Cheers.

    The Hunting Ban wa a bone thrown to the Labour backbenchers by Blair, as a reward for letting him back the Americans in going to war, illeagaly, with Iraq !! It had nothing to do with hunting , foxes or country sports !! It was simply class warfare by Labour who think anyone who partakes in feild sports is a Tory; remember the Labour MP who said, after the ban, "Thats a black eye for the Tory Toffs" ?? I supported the Border & Coquetdale Coursing Club for years, and it was made up from farmers, pitmen and shipyard workers !! So much for the "Toffs" !! Anyone who votes Labour is voting for

    That pup looks fine to me !! I have a 12 week old pup, and I feed her whenever she wants to eat ! Raw chicken, rabbit, beef, milk, eggs, complete food, bone meal powder, etc. I like to see a pup eat, if they have a bit extra wheight on when they mature, it's better to trim them down, than try to build up an underwheight pup !     The dog that won last years lamping comp, Bruce, is over 27", and his old kennel mate, Billy, was 29" but it didn't stop him being a good rabbit dog ! Cheers.

    Dan, theres a HUGE difference between a 3 month pup and a 6 or 7 month pup ! A 3 month pup has no co-ordination between it's legs and body, it should have just had it's final shots and only just be out of the yard. I've no problem with a 6 month pup coming along to see whats what, but to talk about a THREE MONTH OLD PUP coursing is stupid !! I'm convinced the lads who are saying this are just on a wind up !! LOL !! My latest pup is 3 month old, she can barely course her own tail !! Cheers.

    Heres a 1/4 GSD x 3/4 Grey; nice looking pup, but don't know how it did in the field; Heres a THREE MONTH, (12 week), old pup, who will certainly NOT be seeing a course until she's around THIRTEEN month, never mind THREE month !! Cheers.

    Hi mate, as I've said previously, I would rather run 40 than 4 !, but what am I supposed to do; drive all the way home and go back another night, with perhaps the same outcome ? Just about everything from the weather to poachers conspired against us, but the 2 competitors and the judge agreed that it was a result, however poor it may have been. The comp would never get finished if we all waited for perfect condititions. What annoys me is negative comments coming from people who haven't entered the comp, running down people who have entered.     Tomo, the moon was almost FULL, no cloud, no wind, and there were lamps on the permission in front of us, and a Trasnsit van driving the fields and lamping, so hardly good condititions !! I had drove 140 mile and stayed over, so it wasn't a case of not trying !! You didn't enter this years comp because of family commitments, Bolt and myself had to run on this date because of OUR family commitments; he had just got back from NZ , and my family is off to Oz for 4 month next week, so this was the only date we could arrange. We enjoyed ourselves, so why should it worry anyone else ????? my

    Hi mate, me and LDR have already discussed next years comp, and theres a good chance it will be invite only and all comments, results, etc, will be kept to PM and not posted on open forum ! It would be a shame if it came to that, but there is just to many who want to drag the comp down. Cheers.
