Anyone voting in the Council elections tomorrow ? Im so pissed off with the main parties, I was going to change the habit of a lifetime and not vote. But I've looked at the candidates in my area and other areas around Newcastle, and there's a new party, Newcastle Independents standing a few candidates, so I'm going to vote for them. It probably won't make any difference, as my area is mostly old mining communities, and it's the old " me da and me granda voted Labour, so will I " ! I know there will be people who say " why bother ? ", but I believe, rightly or wrongly, if y

I've recently made my will, and everything goes to my grandson, including the house, so the IT threshold goes up to £500,000. I also have a trust fund for him that isn't included in the IT threshold. Its a disgraceful tax. We have been taxed on earnings, investments, etc, then the money is taxed again with Inheritance Tax. Whatever happened to "double jeopardy " ? Cheers.

I had my house rented out to a Korean professor at Newcastle University once. He kept his kimchi jars in the garage.......the smell lingered on long after he left. Im sure there was a Korean astronaut on the ISS at one time and he was allowed to take kimchi with him, not sure what the other astronauts thought of that ! Cheers.

I think all manure has to "age" to take the acidity out of it. Ive got horse manure piles, covered in black plastic and I leave it for at least a year, then spread a layer over a bed after the veggies have been lifted, then dig it in during the spring. Seems to work. I moved one of my hen runs after about five years, and made it into a raised bed. Just turned it over and planted turnips, they turned out great. Cheers.

I didn't know that. Why isn't more of it turned into fertiliser ? I find it better than horse or cow manure. Cheers.

There was no shortage of police ready and very willing to crack heads during the Countryside march..... And there never seems to be a shortage of funding or manpower when the send up a £3,000 per hour helicopter when I'm lamping the fields behind my house........ Cheers.

A scumbag who is serving 10 years in prison for beating his own child so badly that the child had to have both legs amputated, has been beaten up by two other prisoners. They used tins of tuna in socks to beat the shit out of him and knocked 12 of his teeth out. A reporter said "the tins of tuna were severely damaged" !!! Sounds like they made a decent job of it ? Cheers.

The 29" bitch only ever ran one fallow doe, when she was 9 year old, and took it with the same ease she took roe, no drama, just hit its shoulder, neck hold, job done. ? Cheers.

Got a cooked chicken from Lidl yesterday, £3:99. Had chicken chow mien today, got chicken curry for tomorrow. Cheers.

O'Sullivan has singly handedly kept snooker in the public eye for years. Barry Hearn knows that, and that's why O'Sullivan gets away with what he does, no other player could bully the refs the way he does. Who would be watching and commenting on a final between, say, Selby and Williams ? O'Sullivan is the greatest of all time, even Hendry and Davis acknowledge that now. Whatever his foibles, he's compulsive viewing if you like snooker ? Cheers.

Do you mean O'Sullivans technique is failing ? I think it's still evolving. He doesn't go for every pot now, he looks to safety, and his safety play is amongst the best. He makes the odd unforced error, but he's allways done that, like all the other players. Hes the world ranked number one and playing in the final, so I hardly think he's in a rut. Unless, of course, you're just angling for a bite ? ?? Cheers.

Trumps body language is terrible, as I say, it's a long way to go, but Ronnie seems to sense he's got Trump where he wants him. Cheers.
-
I was just going to say O'Sullivan isn't going for the dangerous pots, he's going for the containment safety, then he doesn't take on a relatively easy pot, goes for the safety and misses the red ! Cheers.
-
A long way to go, but it looks like Ronnie is in the "zone" Hendry has just said " Trumps game is in tatters" ! Cheers.

And that will be the people who haven't even got a passport, never mind travelled extensively ! ? ? ! Cheers.

I spent an inordinate amount of time in Thailand, because of my job. Bangkok was a main hub for the airline I worked for, and myself and my family got , and still do get, free flights, free use of the airlines staff hotel in Nana Plaza, Bangkok, 50% discount on other airlines, hotels, car hire, etc, so we took full advantage ! I also had many one, two, three days layovers in Bangkok from other flights. We first started going in the very early 80's, when Pattaya was still a R & R base for American troops, Beach road was tin shack bars, no big hotels, shopping malls or Ripleys !

Hmm, I can only go by my own experience, but I had a 23" bitch that had the speed to take roe, and took her fair share, but got kicked off or dragged through a hedge by big bucks. Also had a 29" bitch that if she's hit a roe, you could guarantee it was down. Same with fox; the little bitch killed them but sometimes it was a battle and she took a bit of stick, but the big bitch killed them like rats, and so should any 29", 75lb dog. So, just my own opinion, but I'll go with the old adage " a good big 'un will beat a good little 'un". Cheers.

I think O'Sullivan has played a wee bit better than Trump, so it'll be difficult to pick a winner. As allways, it'll be decided by which head Ronnie has got on ! He seems to be playing almost as good as he ever has, so I make him slight favourite. Trump, along with Robertson, Higgins and Shelby, is one of the few who aren't over awed by O'Sullivan, so it should be great snooker. I'm out all day tomorrow, but I'll be recording it and trying to avoid knowing the score ! Cheers.
-
And you named him after O'Sullivan ! Good call, mate ! ? ! Cheers.

I don't see the rise of I.A. making people redundant. I prefer to see it as raising skill levels considerably. Who will design them ? Who will build them ? Who will write the programmes ? Who will service them ? Humans....... It may just make people raise there game, get better educated, aim higher. But who really knows ? Cheers.
-
I'm dissapointed you choose to mock me, when I've invested so much of the little time I have left, in trying to educate you ..... But fear not, I see something in you, that others don't.....so I won't give up on you ? cheers.

I like that, sheepy ? Cheers.

I blame that tarmac laying bloody p***y ! ? I have to delete everything the fucka sends immediately ! ?? ! Cheers.
