Can you give a link to where the Saudis are doing deals to sell oil in non USD ? The Saudi P.I.F. Is listed in USD. Virtually all their holdings in companies such as Facebook, Disney, Microsoft, Uber, etc are listed in USD. The biggest company in the world, Saudi Aramco is listed in USD. I lived there for 26 years and all that time, the SAR was tied to the USD. The SAR fluctuated against every other currency, including the GBP, but never against the USD. I remember some years ago when some of the "experts" were saying tanks were obsolete because massed battles on the plains were over and modern wars would be localised or insurgentcies. Then along came the two Gulf Wars and heavy armour was suddenly needed again ! Still, some said that Russia would never attempt to roll across the Eurasian plains with massed armour, and the next war would be fought with technology. I've been told that you are supposed to leave the guts in when you cook them, but I've never tried it. I don't know why this is, when I have small game birds like quail or partridge I allways gut them. Cheers.

Sturgeon has gone screaming into reverse about the transgender rapist in a women's prison. I seem to remember this back when the hunting act came in here in England. Something about Crown Estates, where the monarch has to give permission for any law to be put on the statute and for it to also affect royal properties. Cheers.

I’ve must have been lucky with my dogs, I’ve had whippets, beddy types, etc that took roe on open land, day or night ! Nothing fantastic , mind you, but they took as many as they missed. The deer cross before this one was still taking them at ten year old ! Dont get me wrong, it’s a great sight, a running dog on a daytime hare or roe, but it’s not some special achievement. Cheers.

Not just the Scottish lads. My brother has permissions that straddle the border, so we have the insane scenario where you are perfectly legal on one half of the farm, and a criminal if your dog chases a rabbit across an imaginary line ! Cheers.

I’m guessing that you’re just a tadge younger than me, and we probably have the same outlook on life. I’ve just entered my 70’s and to be fair, I don’t know everything, but I’ve had a rather different life to most, that doesn’t make me better or more intelligent than others, it just gives me a different perspective, I’ll discus and debate anything that interest’s me, and accept others opinions, even though I may disagree with them ! That’s what makes forums great ? Cheers.

I don’t think they are consciously targeting lads out with a dog…..I think it’s more shithouses with a camera phone reporting us to the police, and it’s an easy pinch for the police. Easier to prosecute than a burglary….,,, Cheers.
