The CIA may have their own records, but I think the documents that Trump is releasing are the 5 million pages that are held in the National Archive and Records Administration, which are records like the Warren Commission Report, The House Select Committee Report, the Assassination Board Review, etc. Many have already been released over the years. Will we learn anything new or earth shattering ? I doubt it. Cheers.

Trump has signed an Executive Order pausing overseas aid for 90 days to evaluate if the recipients are friendly to and have the same values as America. Only exceptions are Isreal and Egypt. Cheers.

I’m not sure of his exact saying but he said to the president, I’ve got the troops and the armour here in Europe so let’s carry on and finish the Russians as they will be the next problem, or words to that effect. General MacArthur wanted to nuke the Chinese to win the Korean war, but he wasn’t allowed and the yanks lost the war. Politicians thinking they know better than the Generals when it comes to war . I actually went to Dallas; Sat in the “snipers nest “ on the fifth floor of the Book Depository and pointed an imaginary rifle at the cross on Elm Street where the fatal shot hit. I stood on the grassy knoll. I stood behind the picket fence I stood on the railroad. I walked and drove through the Triple Underpass. I was driven the whole route to the Parkland Memorial Hospital. Possibly the thermostat ? They do fail and are cheap and easy to replace, but white goods are so cheap these days I’d rather just replace the whole thing than f**k about and have it break down again in a week or two ! To get an engineer out is literally as expensive as buying a new one . Cheers.

Bangkok was the Asian hub for the airline I worked for, so any flights to, say, Bali, Australia , New Zealand , Seoul , etc were routed through there and we had many stopovers, we used the airlines hotel in Bangkok but if a stop over was two or three days we travelled around. Had many vacations there with the family, but the last time I was there it had become far to commercialised, nothing like it was in the early eighties when it was basically an R & R destination for American troops based in the Pacific area. I’m sure I’m not just being nostalgic or looking back through rose tinted glasses, but I’m sure I remember walking to school in blizzards, through 18” of snow in the 50’s and 60’s on a regular yearly basis. I can’t remember the schools being closed or yellow and red warnings. This winter we’ve had in my area two separate nights with a dusting of snow that had disappeared by the evening , but we are being bombarded with warnings and advice; don’t travel, wrap up warm, etc. Cheers.

When he was in the courts custody room he was recorded as saying he’s glad he killed the girls. When he was in the dock he was screaming and saying he needed a doctor and the judge has had him removed from the court. Cheers.

I have fond memories of the 1969 Fairs Cup semi- final second leg between Newcastle and Rangers. The first leg was a draw and when Newcastle went one nil up in the second leg, 10,000 jocks invaded the pitch in an attempt to abandon the game. The police chief at the time said if he had enough men he would have arrested 20,000 people that day. Newcastle went on to win and then won the final against Upjest Dozcia. The last time we won a Cup Final. Cheers.

I was talking to my missus today, ( we often talk even after 48 years of marriage), and I said I wished we had Google and Wikipedia and the like when I was studying, I would be a retired Professor Emiritus now . I wouldn’t have had to explain my calculations in the margin of my test papers, I could have copied and pasted technical drawings instead of painstakingly doing them with a pencil and ruler. AI could have written my thesis for me, instead of me trying to explain the invention and development of the two stroke and four stroke internal combustion engine to Luddites who still p
