    I had a pal who lived on Ayrsome Park Road in the shadow of the Boro’s ground. He was a proud Yorkshire man and refused to accept the boundary changes that put Middlesbrough in Cleveland and allways insisted he was from the North Riding of Yorkshire, which is actually correct. I would always wind him up that he could never play cricket for Yorkshire, as you had to be born in Yorkshire at the time. He actually wrote to the YCB and asked and they said Middlesbrough still counted as Yorkshire to them. He was the happiest man ever and showed me the letter every time I baited him.

    Being a southerner is nothing to be ashamed of mate ! I have lots of southern mates, in fact one of my best mates is in Leeds and I treat them just the same as my north east mates ! Its nice though that you want to be a north easterner ! LOL ! Cheers.

    I know I’m old and maybe have the onset of dementia but I can’t recollect or find the said PM, and I’ve never dug to a terrier anywhere, let alone Wales, in fact I’ve only ever owned one terrier in my life and believe me that wasn’t for long !     I remember my daughter taking a stuffed badger to school well over 40 years ago for “show & tell”. The teacher was very happy with it and spent a whole lesson teaching about British wild life. If that was today, I’d get a visit from the police and social services would take my kids into care ! How times have changed . Cheers.

    This is out of the same dam, but sire is a non-ped whippet scratch dog. One of the fastest dogs in the country at the time; I’d guess they have completely different running styles, the saluki type more of a stayer, this one more of an up and at ‘em type. But that’s just conjecture on my part . Cheers.

    I blame you ! LOL ! You sent the vids to Craig ! I didn’t realise Craig was still going , last time I saw him was many years ago when he was winning the trotting At Wolsingham Show, around the same time as ASD was winning the 400 yards straight greyhound racing. Two events that are sadly not around now . Cheers.
