  1. i was under impression aslong as its 3 generations from wolf, it can be kept as a normal dog an that if the germaqn shepard x greyhounds were decent deer dogs, why wouldnt these wolfdogs x greys be any good???? ill never try 1, even if the chance arose, but makes ye think tho, they are the ultimate dog, so to speak F3 Generations (and beyond) are 100% legal, and they can actually be 'High content' even 3 generations from the wild wolf, the Czech is about f15 I'm a little out of touch as i used to organise DWA licenses back in the late 90's..... Dotty the original

  3. I doubt a wolf hybrid would be of any use in the field, plus you would require a dangerous wild animal licence which would have stipulation including not be allowed to take the animal into the field.........
  4. the fox in the tree was just one of those things ,those dogs have caught hundreds you do not know what you are talking about ,some of those dogs were catchting off camera and they were a bit knackered Macky,I have too agree with wilf about the tree root "episode", it was cringeworthy and poor and can't be classed as "one of thoese things"....
  5. May catch the odd bunny on the lamp but most folk rabbits are easy, in my opinion they ain't..........
  6. Too big, heavy and unsuitable for quarry now or pre ban. Can't see they would add anyhting to a running dog, they won't have the drive of a well bred bull which would be the type of cross you would expect to compare them too........

  19. My first lamping dog was a pure collie, i also used him for ferreting, obviously the catch rates were low as the speed of a lurcher wasn't there but he had a good strike, stamina and was easy to work. I also got one of my shepherds going on the lamp, catch rates were less as he was slower than the collie but he also regulalry took feather......
