  1. I hear the same thing often repeated about deer/foxes/hares in this country, nice avatar, ironic..............
  2. I quite like discos but had a defender 110, never again, uncomfortable to drive, expensive to run and not all that reliable. At 17 the insurance will be stupid and not worth it it imo, if you are determined to own a 4x4 then as suggested, get a vitara, unless money is no object.............
  3. Hi Roy, Glad you find the site, im sure the members will look forward to some of the photos/stories i have seen..............
  4. Personally i wouldn't of taken the dog lamping as it gives him the opportunity to ignore the recall and it reinforces the fact he CAN ignore you. Be better off giving lamping a break for a few weeks and working on the recall away from the field.......
  5. Seen this dog graft, should make somebody a nice nocturnal pot filler.
  6. Mine came this morning and im already halfway through it. The book has some great interviews with some coursing pioneers, well worth adding to your collection and has numerous old photos and some new ones, looks like a first in a series of books so get yours for xmas...........
  7. the day I listen to you will be the day hell freezers over, another tosser who, if it werent for my age on my profile, would not of put such a idiotic comment!!! I detect a lot of arse lickers surrounding this dog, simply because it was the mighty darcy's!!! its not a case of mugging a dead dog off, as i said from the beginning that was not my point. And at Simoman, I will post when I want, if i have an opinion on something, i will voice it, whether or not other members agree with it or not, thats the beauty of an opinion, everyone has there own!!! I had noticed..... You say the
  8. I have explained via pm, another mod deleted a thread, i have also told you to pm him as im sure he will explain why, the lurcher discussion section is not the place to be filled with debating why a thread was removed.
  9. I don't know Sirius, those pasties are expensive yet taste like they are filled with minced udder and hog anus............
  10. Yep no probs,, feck it 2 lads,,, once in a lifetimes opertunity,,,£ 500,,, a nights lamping and days ferreting that's 250 each lad ,,,, any takers. I got a night there with tomo and all i had to do was let him touch me..............
  11. if it was a sex scandle, simo would of been in on it and charty 100% accurate, was a new kind of nose sex. Darcy doesn't some on the site anymore, Gamerooster, as a couple of members have alluded, perhaps you should read more and type less. I have never heard Darcy "big up" any of his dogs and he has told me the faults, he is a writer in a small market where it has become the "norm" to slate writers rather than just enjoy others experiences, bit sad really....................... As stabba said, unless you have seen the dog put in several shifts how can you comment on its ability????
  12. Excellent stuff as always, stabs has a knack of painting a very vivid picture in your head, one of the best fieldsport writers today imo............

  14. Agree with the points raised above, i had a 110, very uncomfortable for everyday use, juicy, poor driving position and not at all an everyday car in my opinion. I had a navara, juicy but better than the 100, comfortable, reliable and the good thing was i could stick 4 dogs in the back covered in mud and yet still use it as a family car. Nowadays i drive a diesel estate, the fuel savings are amazing...............
  15. Bad news Ken, sorry to hear it.......
  16. Congratulations, best feeling in the world........
  17. I agree, and with children thats the parents responsibilty to monitor what they are looking at and typing, the internet can be a dangerous place............
  18. Bit different for a grown man and a school girl. Sounds like she was a school girl being bullied by her classmates and stalked by some lad, looks like she made mistakes, but we all do that. A local lad aged 11 killed himself after being bullied at school, its sickening...... Yeah thinking about it I think your right. How can schools do more to tackle bullying (genuine question). I think anti-bullying practices are in place, its important that children feel they can talk to their parents about issues and know there parents will respond and deal with them.............

  20. What a load of ole horse shit
  21. Cattle can be aggressive, had a dog thrown over a dry stone wall. Used to work with Jerseys, the bulls were very aggresive, they would throw round bales of straw into the air, and also threw the farm manager about like a rag doll one day, they would attack the tractors clearing out the sheds..............Saying that im fine with cattle but find horses are even worse with dogs
  22. Kids are cruel, i wont let any of mine go on facebook or the internet..............
