  1. I'll add my POV from a landlord, my tenent pays rent, i pay a mortgage, the letting agency take 10% of the rent plus VAT, so lets just say i dont dine at Ramseys resturant each week. Everytime they find a new tenent or i incur paperwork its costs another £100, plus just recently the boiler broke and i had to find £2,000 in 3 days to get a new one put in, not all landlords are rich.......

  4. You ever tried getting a fresien bull out a 12 foot hole? - It is unsightly, shows a lack of respect for the quarry, the landowner, the environment. - Is blatently obvious for 'undersireable' people who roam the countryside looking to incriminate us. - Gives fieldsports in general a bad image. - Ruins the earth for future generations toi use. - Once one earth is f****d, the 'vermin' will simply excavate somewhere else making them more difficult to keep on top of which is obviously not good from a vermin controll perspective. hedgehogs

I think they must have regular runs which seems to be engrained in there brain, as a few years ago they seemed to run the same path each year prior to hibernation, unfortunately that run seemed to be where i built my kennels and many perished as they squeezed under the runs I really like hedgehogs and would bever intentionally hurt them, they are rare where i live now and i honestly cant remember the last time i saw one, well over a year ago..............
  6. First of all, you WILL lose your deposit and dont have a leg to stand on, and she may or may not allow you to end the tenancy early, speaking as a landlord i can tell you with all the costs involved i'd tell my tenent to f**k off
  7. ill give him 50 notes  think you may have to out a 2 at the front of that 50  You can my copy of extreme lurcherwork for 200
  8. I think good advice has already been dished out BUT as an extra point, in future i will abuse my mod powers and delete those videos if you persist in using that f*****g godawful dance shit, it makes me want to stab the nearest person in the eye with a screwdriver...............

  10. If funds allow i'll pop down and have a catch up stranger......
  11. Denise, let me start by saying to be a member of this forum, having a tough skin and a sense of humour is a must, secondly people are going are going to be naturally wary of a new member (rightly so in light of recent events), and starting a thread with obvious "attitude" will just put folks back up. My advice would be have a laugh, gain what information you can, share your experiences and enjoy the forum, but most of all chill out, its only the tinterweb What i would like to say, and this is not directed at anyone of this thread is some members need to grow up and move on a little with
  12. My belief in religion started the day i met bogger, as his hair appeared to be parted by Moses...........
  13. I think you mentioned it earlier in your post Penny, some form of religion has been branded into our physche and over centuries, and it seems that religion has been the cause of many wars and more deaths since history books were written, from the crusades to the recent religion based problems across the water and the radical islamics and the western world...... I think primitive societies(from my love of Bruce Parry ) still battle over territory, food source etc, perhaps when some societies became more "civilsed" we needed something new to fight over so religion was formed as a reason for st
  14. Let me assure you Dobermanns are thick as f**k and certainly have no fire, judge is quite correct, nervousness is rife in the breed.......... Bit of a sweeping generalisation of a breed, that Simmo !!!This one was far from thick, had pleanty of fire, and not a sign of nervousness ! I owned her for over 12 years, she was bred in Holland from German stock, I got her in Saudi and brought her back here. As for the "Urban Myth" of them turning on their master, well, she never turned on me, or anyone else for that matter ! I probably trusted her more than any other dog I've owned.
  15. Good do lads, tomo was saying when we went up you never see foxes, weird you would think those rabbits would be a good food source.............Perhaps shot to bits
  16. Don't think anyone is saying it AIN'T important.it's just not the be all and end all in a lurcher's makeup..yes it does have to be quick enough to catch it's quarry but that's about as much use as it needs to be imo? All the things that Moo mentioned are imo of more significance than just blinding speed? ATB Andy. Spot on Andy, it was originally stated in the thread that speed was "the" most important thing in a lurcher, its thats so why dont we all own greyhounds? Its because you do need speed, of course you do but its not the most improtant attribute, there are lots of fast dogs
  17. Banned back in 1991, and they are built nothing like a running dog............
  18. Your starting to come across as a bit of a messer lad, one thread asking for a hare dog, another saying your 7 month old pup isnt picking up doubled up rabbits on the lamp and now askingg for folk to tell you good spots............Your on the verge of being branded a messer and its upto you weree you go from now............

  23. Read the dogs mind by Bruce Fogle............
  24. Aye..couldn't agree more Moo .ATB Andy. i dont disagree but i think u miss what im sayin is imo the primary compnent should be speed. say you are breeding a dog. i would pick a tested dog but a quick one then build on that with the otther nessasary essential bits n bobs Agree with the lads above, for me in no way is speed thhe primary component, a dogs needs to be fast enough, but all those things are far more important to me than speed, when thinking of continuing a line, who thinks that speed is the main attribute? Not me or anyone i know.........
