Its interesting other folk have the same things i do, that feeling that you want to jump, and the one about the rail, and how it wouldn't stop you falling..............although mackems desire to kill folk is disturbing

Used to find the odd one in the sheep pastures on my permission but not seen one anywhere for a couple of years, any tips on the best plaeces or time of year to find them?

Weird thing is as a kid i did abseiling and rock climbing My fear developed as i got older. Few years ago in Oz, i was walking across a rain forest walkway about 50 feet up on a slippy surface and somebody bumped into me and made me slip, i overreacted bigtime through fear. Another time walking along a cliff top, the ground opened up and within 10 feet was a huge vertical drop, yet again the human slug took over as i lay on the floor and crawled away........

I'm well impressed with myself....I've single handedly made half the forum grey (including myself!) in one morning! I wont laugh at your stories, i can relate, i remember being at the top of a French castle, no health and safety and a 12 inch wall at the top, i lay on the floor and crawled back to the stairs...............

As others have mentioned, almost certainly linked to either diet, straw/hay as bedding if he has been routinely treated for parasites..........
