    yes, my merle dog was bred out of a hancock 1/2 collie bitch by a bull/grey

What are you under the assumption a non ped whippet is then, it's not a lurcher, it's made up of whippet and greyhound blood, which to me is a longdog. some of the old line of dogs will carry small amount of other breeds in them , (but nowadays its mainly whippet and grey) but id still call non peds long dogs

    What's that mean? a breeder of russells , yours is of similar type they breed

    which diff seizes up f? to see if its in diff lock try jacking a wheel on one side and see if you can spin the wheels , you shouldnt be able to .. if it is check all round the linkage for any thing jamming it or extremely loose try moving the linkage with a screw driver if it still wont come out , try reversing and going forward it might be stuck in due to diff wind up
