how can your dog get footed or your hawk get killed if the dog hasnt run in?? ive spent enough time with springers that will work with hawk or gun and also with lurchers to understand them what as my pitted barrels got to do with this thread ???

I've got a sxs with bad pitted barrels (inside), is there anything I can do to sort it , or is there any where that repairs them . Guns not worth loads but I like it

you need to start from scratch with that , get her sitting while she is close , and trying to lenghthen the distance you can drop her , if she starts to come in instead of sitting walk her back to the spot and sit her , it could take some time but she should get there eventually .. sounds like she as been allowed to get away with it during training ..

are you using the sit command to stop her? focus on the sit command at a short distance then slowly start to try increasing that distance that you try dropping her

That's about right chid...£ a head...might be cheaper travelling for them but a lot less hassle getting them delivered... but he will still have to meet the transporter some where to put them on , then meat him some where when he gets over here, save on the hassle and get some one to go for them Aye that's the best idea...get someone else to go for you...I use Aidan Mcallister and he's a good lad...he'll do terriers 2 for 1... its not a door to door service though Fair comment - I meet him at Gretna when I use him which is a round trip of about miles for me...
