  1. I’m moving away from big heavy scopes, often unnecessary weight and bulk imo. ?
  2. Good shooting Suffolk, It’s good to see the “olde skool” pcp’s in use. S10’s nice. I still like to shoot my mk1 rapid. Lovely ??
  3. I was wondering?, what’s the general consensus on browning triggers? (The shiney gold ones).....?
  4. It started off with Lincolnshire, now it’s widespread, won’t be long before every county follows suit on this one. It takes the onus off the police, a job less for them to follow up. It’s about time the home office issued protocols instead of guidelines, that’s the problem here.
  5. Hmm, not so sure, I think I might have got a bad ‘un ?. It won’t pump above about 500 psi, the non return valve doesn’t seem to be non returning. I’ve changed the spring and o ring, cleaned everything up and it’s still the same. Every downwards pump it just bounces back up again if there’s any resistance. I’ve had enough messing about with it now, asked for a replacement and we’ll see what happens? Jury’s out atm.
  6. I think two minutes is a bit generous meece, I’d say 30 seconds.
  7. Exactly, what’s that about, rimfire that feels like a centrefire. If you want unnecessary size and weight I suppose ??
  8. If you go on Notts firearms website you can print the forms off. You need to get your doctor to fill one form in, it’s just a short tick box form and the doctor needs to stamp and sign it, then you send it in together with the rest of your paperwork. Notts won’t process without it now I believe.
  9. They are accurate Gav, no doubt about it. Is the trigger shiney gold? I hadn’t noticed....?
  10. As above, my .22 hw99 has standard barrel with muzzle weight and it’s quiet without a sound moderator. V-Mach tuned and shoots lovely, in fact, I must dig it out and have a play?
  11. Reading between the lines, I’m getting the impression that you’re just maybe not too keen on the browning triggers Ian ? ?
  12. Yerr, thought you’d had one SD, maybe better in .22 mag?
  13. Arrived today Ben, all £17:29’s worth, free postage, just put handle, gauge and whip on. I’ll have a go at topping my hw100 up to 200 bar first. If that goes ok, I’ll try topping the impact up to 250 bar?. That should test it...........and me?
  14. Nice one Ben, Martyn will sort you out with a good deal ??
  15. Countryman have one in Ben. Varmint stainless??
  16. In .204 I’d go for the tikka as well. On a different note (Rimfire)Talking about Remington’s SD, would you consider a 597 as I was thinking about possibly getting one for night set up? As semi autos go I thought they had a good reputation.
  17. I’ve thought that for a long time, high powered airguns, at least up to 35/40 ft lbs should be section 2. No way are they more potentially dangerous than a 12 gauge shotgun, especially using heavy loads of big shot. As for sg’s etc carrying 200 ft lbs per pellet? not in the same league regarding firepower.
  18. The last “crime “ I heard about in my village was somebody woke up to find that someone had thrown a slice of cheese on his car. He went door to door asking if anyone had seen anything? ?
  19. Yerr, those tikkas are nice, and for the money a bit of a bargain. I know two people who have them, one in .22 and one in .17 , both spot on?
  20. When it arrives I’ll post a picture and report on it Ben ??
