  1. As the months are devoted to a variety of sporting pursuits, maybe a charity that also benefited a broad spectrum would be good? I would think that a charity that benefits all sorts of dogs or all sorts of hunting or all sorts of medical/childrens charity would be the best, rather than a breed or illness specific charity? Not that lurchers aren't entitled to help of course, as I know the lurcher charities need a lot of help, but it might encourage more help from everyone (and not just the lads looking for T&A pics). Just a thought
  2. Thanks meeri, she's baaaaaarrrrreeely 24" ... alright she's 23 7/8ths I like the feathered Saluki's but happen to MUCH prefer slick coated dogs for some reason ... if things work out I'll be getting a SalX pup that happens to be big and slick coated, which is just want I want, although coat is the last thing I'd pick a dog FOR. It was just a plus! You wouldn't think she's much by looking at her, and in the house she's quiet and unassuming, but a TOTAL food whore. We have 2 sore bitches so we had to bring out the "D" string as we had nothing else to run! I felt she was too small for t
  3. it depends on how many drinks you've had I think it is a good idea for the landowner, not so much for the pest controller!
  4. I'm not a pansy but I sure as hell agree with Keeps that there should have been a warning posted. I don't see the point of these threads, that is something I wish I'd never seen. Seeing it is worse than imagining it, and imagining it was bad enough.

  18. my 6yr old staghound bitch had broken one of her canines last year pulling wire, we changed her kenneling and she adjusted how she held quarry and all was fine until now. Now she's snapped off the second canine, and basically can't hold toothed quarry properly anymore. She's taking decent beatings where before she was ace. I like the bitch and don't like seeing a dog take punishment when she shouldn't, and feel she's got a few good running years yet. I have seen and heard of caps/implants ... anyone try these or have any stories about them? A Mal called Dizzy that I fostered and placed w
