  1. I had never heard of guinnea pig as a cuisine, very interesting!
  2. unfortunate news for those who have paid and have been left without kennels OR cash. Dave, did you end up paying him for your order?
  3. Dan why is one of the dogs in that last video wearing a red jacket? I've never seen or heard of coyote dogs wearing anything?
  4. sounds wierd to me ... maybe it is a very small village and the farmer is an important man in town so "proper" procedure was not followed? Maybe? Anyway the farmer has probably been having problems in the past and is fed up with stock worriers killing off/damaging his income (can't blame him), and because she has admitted to the vet and the police that it is probably her dog, she will have to suffer the consequences. I agree with the rest, contact Clive and he will give you the best representation available.
  5. looks very mature for 6 months! nice looking dog!
  6. The air quality right now is terrible, we were supposed to camp up in the mountains about 20 miles from the fires but the high wind and unsure nature of the beast made me decide to stay at a hotel closer to Los Angeles. And then last night 2 different fires sparked closer to the hotels than our original place, I thought I was planning smart but oh well! The saddest loss to me is the Mount Calvary Monastary (second to last picture), my mom spent time there recovering from some medical procedures and it was of great comfort to her at that time.
  7. LOL It's going to get heated now

  10. I'm visiting my kids in Santa Barbara this weekend and thought I'd share some pics, thankfully the people I know personally are okay although my sister's coworker lost her home, and several of my old clients as well, and a friend lost a barn with 7 imported Arabians and a couple of foals. It looks like a war zone as you drive through. Makes you thankful! ps I didn't take the pics
  11. one of my favorite things that makes Kye vomit is a sandwich made on white bread with peanut butter, mayonnaise and a banana. Don't knock it 'till you try it, it is awesome!
  12. well Wyo and FR can attest to this ... last week one night when Kye had to work, we sat in FR's kitchen for a good 1 1/2 hours just telling Kye stories ... my god I thought I was going to wet myself a few times. How could ONE guy have made THAT many people laugh that hard?
  13. Glad you could come, we had a blast too! Bring Robert with you the next time, you know how Kye feels about the Old Bill
  14. okay with the way our light is right now, I'm having to set the timer to come on at 2am, it's dark at 5pm, and that is giving them 15 hours light. But now the rooster is crowing at 2am ... I think I'll go see how much those electronic dimmers are!
  15. weeeyy heeeyy the old guard is returning, welcome back
  16. it was such a wierd thing, we'd had it last year on a couple of the dogs (2 stags), again at the very very beginning of the season after they'd been on their first coon. This year, same thing, but it was two different dogs this time, a russell and a stag? And seriously, the scratches were like cat scratches, nothing exciting, not too deep. The one bite on the russell was a jaw to jaw bite so I expected that to be sore, but all of the other wounds around it were what I would call superficial. Within a couple of days instead of them being scabbed over and hard, they were jelly like and the h
