  1. when you say "a while", how long is that? And what did the vet tell you to do? He surely didn't send you out the door with some advice, medication, a request for another appointment etc?
  2. is her recall 100% in the home/garden/on lead before you are trying it off lead?
  3. well done and good luck, nice to see pride and rememberance for lost soldiers
  4. well worth it, one of the best things about them is they are waterproof ... I think I've forgotten how to tape up those poxy debens!
  5. interesting coloration! Good luck with it!
  6. they are pretty popular here, targeted mostly for apartment or small/no yard dwellers, or those who are old or infirm. They can do tomatoes, peppers, chilis, strawberries etc.

He broke his shoulder (or something like that) before his last fight in August, of course he didn't let it heal up so its been a long road, and is now getting ready to start looking for his next fight which will be his pro debut ... haven't a clue when, he has just been training full time for the past couple of months now so I would guess in the next 2-3 months he will have a fight set up unless something gets thrown at him from somewhere. ps Dan Edwards is gay
  8. wow ... that first ref ... just ... wow
  9. but the runners are a lot of fun to watch
  10. We had gone about 5 years without bringing any pups on, and then last year we knew we needed to restock, and were dumb enough to bring 7 pups on in a 9 month period because each pup fit what we needed so we took each opportunity without REALLY thinking about the final number. I seriously thought I was going to die, cause we have to stockbreak heavily (I have goats, chickens, ducks, horses and we live near cattle), obedience, jumping, recall, running off the rig etc ... and this was with 2 terriers, salukiX, a staghound, a stag/bullX, a bullXterrier and a guard dog. Luckily only one hasn't ma
  11. A few years ago you could NOT buy a B&F collar unless you bought one of their boxes, but that might have changed by now. Kye REALLY rates the B&F, we have it on all sizes of terriers and it has "always" been accurate in all types of earths, appliance dumps, wire, trees etc
  12. multiple pups on at the same time are a nightmare, do yourself a favor and either work and kennel them seperately, or get rid of one (I've made that mistake and regretted it!). Your "finished product" will be far superior than trying to fight the two at the same time. Or if you have a partner or kid that can take responsibility for the second? Just keep them apart as much as possible.
  13. I have cayuga, runners and pekin, and they ALL lay about one a day
  14. glad to see the update, best wishes with her!
  15. any progress on how she's getting on in her new home?
  16. ah got it, I thought you were saying bigger dogs in general, not just the monsters you keep I can make arrangements with Hooters and have something set up for you and him to spend some time together when you're here
  17. probably would depend how you bring the dog up, 2 of mine are SalX's and they run pretty much the same as the staghounds do on the lamp
  18. Dan both Tor and Blister regularly took 3/3's and 4/4's educated jackrabbits on a desert dry lake bed we used to live near and they are decently sized 29-30" dogs. Agree with pretty much everything else you said though!
  19. I wouldn't find that parentage hard to believe at all, you can get any sort of sizes when you have a spread of sizes behind a dog.
  20. Dan I think you enjoy it more than Stitch does
  21. very interesting, I know nothing about wooly sheep and have never seen it done, thank you!
