do only certain breeds of deer get those, or all types? I've never seen that before but then I've only been around deer for 5 years.

I ran shows and other events for 17 years, and it is NOT POSSIBLE to make everyone happy. SO many things that you can control, but others (like weather and the actions of other people) that you can't. There is something to be said for consistency ... everything in the same place year to year - as long as it works for the majority - is often the best way to go. Why reinvent the wheel? Then you can focus your attention on tackleing the real problems, such as the camping and the high costs. But also not being blind to new suggestions, maybe moving things around for a few years to ascertain h

are the 3 about the same size and ages, or of varying ones? Is their activity level all about the same? Feeding once a day is fine when not working (some always feed just once a day but to each his own), probably you just need to cut back on the whippets food about 30%. You might put pics of them up if you wanted opinions (valid and otherwise ) of the weights?

LOL no I agree, I wouldn't be walking up myself but they could still hop in their vehicle and drive towards it, or do something other than just stand there. Its one thing if the dog was after the fawn but it was just in thw wrong place at the wrong time.

I had a 1/2 grey 1/2 stag bitch who had a front outside toe off, and she was 100% sound on it. But you'd have to check with a vet as to cost, mine didn't need to XRay or anything due to the way the injury was (lower toe was shattered into a dozen pieces) so the cost was about 50 pounds, tickled me to death!

why not take the dog to a greyhound vet? Then you'll know for sure, if it's happening everytime you have the dog out it is only right to have it properly looked at. Maybe snap a pic and put it up here for interests sake?
