  8. Sorry to hear about your mate, hope he's okay... Just wondering where it happened as I was out pheasant shooting today in the Borders and saw an RAF helicopter landing not far from us
  9. Having seen the devastating effects of an otter having a 170 ducks killed out of 200 over the period of 5 to 6 weeks, the carcasses being half eaten. The ducks would disappear 2 or 3 a night and would be found in the bushes, on the banks etc.
  10. i would say definately the work of an otter.i have had alot of bother from them killing my ducks.

  13. Hiya lads. Thanks for the comments about the dog. He is 16 months old, fantastic on foxes and deer. Has tracked Silka and Roe., I've seen him jump a wall with a fox in his mouth, he likes nothing better than to give them a bit worry when out lamping - as long as they are dead. He comes everywhere with me and has never shown any hesitation in retrieving foxes and he gets plenty of practice. He will not actually kill the fox but will not let them run away - he will hold them at bay but he has no hesitation in finishing off any wounded deer. Foxhunter - you are more than welcome to c
