Beretta, uck, now got to wash my mouth out. Over priced cnc produce. Besides I've got one but it's more interesting that the tarts model choice. I'm with you on chokes. This wee skb is 1/4&1/2 (1/2 is max for steel) like ianm said a joy to carry all day. I'm into day two with this one and think I'm going to have to cough up for it boys! I did pattern the mirookoo, it wasn't bad but it just came up funny, felt awkward in the field. Felt like a piece of universal beam in the hands. Na, this'll do.

Sorry lads, took it back. Hot sweats, disturbed sleep, I just could not settle. Something just didn't suit. The dealer, a friend was very sympathetic and let me loose in his armoury. It was then that I stopped picking up them up and over things and spied a little skb 200e 1/4 and half choked. As soon as I shouldered it it was a perfect fit. It feels petite compared to a chunk of girder and is nicer to carry. My friend said take it and try it. So I did. Now need to keep testing and try some steel in it but so far it feels just right.

All I have noticed Deker is that, to me, the brass looks more yellow than the stuff that fails. Maybe they just added or got the copper content right. Any how. I don't have issues with the current ammo.

Quick turn round on variation

Err, did you price the ammo David? -
Small bore shoots are awesome. I bet that is good fun. I shot a 410 often on beaters days, they weren't laughing at the end of the day! That and a frontstuffer shoot.

Good points mate.

That's OK, I do it all the time ? -
Hmmm, so skeet was no good? I don't have choke tubes, this one is fixed. Up to what distance was it good? I have heard #4steel is a good choice. Foxes like that are exciting. Thanks Si.

Bergara B13 take down, any experiences?
Sausagedog replied to Tyla's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I wouldn't be to fussed about a large can. A small one would do me. Or one that comes back. I personally would have to be able to shoot it offhand in a pinch. That is just me. Hope you get one ? -

No sorry but I do envy you. I've always had a soft spot for these type of rifles and I love 308. Would you go for the 20" barrel? I know I would. -
What stash? Lol, you've been in the wrong house!

Nice one. I know someone that shoots a ruger precision. Loves it. I shot 18 crows and 11 squirrels Sunday in that fog. You'll be OK. Humble pie don't taste to bad ?

Have any of your guns got light chokes, like quarter or less? If so are the steel loads a bit tighter pattern wise over the lead shot? Thank you.

Those 20gn cci are very fast for 20gn. If only they did a softpoint in them. A 452 I owned for a few months loved Winchester 20gn but I hated the misfires. Best be buying some more of the hornadys quick from my local!

I did, sold it. To much fiddle and they can still see it! Useless!

Nice that the local golf club leys you shoot on there ? ? -
I will get a box of steel cartridges.

So, thinking ahead. I want something steel proof. Well at least shoot some standard steel. Unfortunately my Tula is full and full and I don't want to touch it so long story short my good friendly dealer borrowed me a mirookoo (miruku) grade 4 from the 90's 26" barrels skeet and 1/4 choked. I have had a few shots with it and taken a few birds but my question is, what kind of effect will skeet and 1/4 choke have on steel? Will it behave like 1/4 &1/2 choke?

Hornet! Extra points ? Yeah, I've been try to get on some that are mating. They are in the same spot every night but they know my lamp somehow. I think it's all over now too. Can't get them all....for now!

Stav, you don't half put some effort in. A true gent you are ?

Does she have convictions? You could write to the chief constable and appeal. Possibly emphasising you have no convictions or criminal record (I'm assuming here) to give cause for concern. -

Wait until you really know someone before getting to involved with them! -
Hmmm. I found them a little inconsistent in the 457. I shot a lot of old eley shorts recently and they were excellent except they were solids and hence worse on varmints than an air rifle!
