    Good going lads. Mine was not as exciting. I never saw the one from yesterday morning after waiting from early dark thirty to 8:30am. So afternoon I went so.e where else and called foxes but got busted again! I moved off and took a 100yd rabbit rested shot. Using 20gn cci fmj today aswell. The pheasants were telling me a tale along a bracken hill side with scrub birch on it so I decided to meander my way along it. Sure enough I spotted one moving about 80yds away and above me.     I had one come to me yesterday morning but it was at an intense 20yards and the wind was in its favour. It busted me ?. Just out to see if it does the same thing!

    Lol yeah. I use to visit the factory that machined Daystate air rifle parts. The operator of the cnc machines had a hard time staying awake! A lot of this stuff is priced as though someone has spent half a day making them one at a time ?

    To be honest I never get low mounts and never understood the popularity of the notion that low is best! I think the term cheek weld has given the wrong impression. I shoot best with my head and neck up. It's a shame it's ruger mounts too. How much are they?

    Bit quiet here so although posted elsewhere here is last weekends muzzleloader activities. It was very near to dark for my eyes when Charlie walked into me and me dog! It run away unsure what we were but I squeaked and it came back for another look all be it 50yards away on a bank side. I could hardly see it! Just a long shape really only a seasoned fox man would notice! The ten gauge burst into song with orange flames and white smoke.     Nobel #80 and #82 was good powder. I used Nobel rifle#1 in Hornet too. Man I'm old?

    I think it will be a long time before all lead shot is phased out. I am hopefully that when laws are made this time that some exemptions are made for unique calibres and muzzleloading guns.

    Never loaded steel into a 410. I've used Alliant greendot! ONLY SPECIAL 1/4OZ LOAD FOR THE GARDEN ONLY! H110 and Alliant 2400 were my go to powders. Dies really are not needed. Sometimes a sizing ring is needed for the metal cap but the plastic tube can not be resized. In fact the plastic often swells and makes the case useless. 410 Chambers seem to be quite large and parallel I have used 444Marlin brass in the past. Sometimes the rim has to have its leading edge turned down a little. It works sort of but the lack of crimp makes building pressure up troubles

    Sorry buddy. Bit late reply.... Yeah bet they work. Nothing tech about it really. It only gets technical when you want a loaded round to every pull of a lever.
