    Pistols are fun. I miss shooting a friends n29 in 44m. It was minute of rabbits head at 25yards with 3/4 power loads. I would of hunted with it if I could of.

    That's my point friend. They, despite having our consent do not check up ( I tested them on this by not giving my consent and then when they got in touch I asked if they checked last time, I also asked my doctor if they ever checked and I was told no) so to get a report signed by your doctor but paid by you saves them of not just some work but also from some responsibility! It smells of lawyers to me and did from day one! Public safety has nothing to do with this. It's purely the old boys protecting their positions when or if something goes wrong!

    This is exactly what I hate about the firearm licensing of this land. The police have been given authority to make it up as they wish. Despite there being no basis in law. If basc were any use what so ever they would of got this abuse of power quoshed! Personally I would rather sponsor a lame duck to represent me!

    There is no basis in law to do anything other than to give the police access if they wish to approach your GP and medical records. Because they don't take a look they are just trying to cover their own arses like normal by getting you to do their job for them. And pay for it. When I was told by my GP they want a report I told him to not say a word. My renewed licence turned up like normal! Try to remember for the future; THE COUNTRY IS RUN BY MORONIC BACK STABBING TWO FACED CONTROL FREAKS! It may help you cope next time.

    ....deserves a break and he did this afternoon. Good cool breeze from the north west and sunshine and showers it was ideal conditions for sneaking up on rabbits. The little 45 with about 18g of shot is perfect for hedgerow rabbits. SD.

    I have noticed that with eley myself. I don't bother with them anymore. The Norma arnt bad are they and to be honest, at that distance the CCI are usable.

    Are you surprised mate? After the Brexit fiasco I no longer consider this country has any government with any conviction other than to exercise trying to save its own neck and pursuing the ages old tradition of trampling on the common man and minority groups.

    Yep. I did well this winter, a few vixens and about five local dogs. I screwed up on one and there is this one that I am confident that I have not educated! I only see her occasionally in the lamp and when I do it's a fleeting glimpse and she is gone! I have an idea where she is hiding out and her giving voice last night says she has cubs there too. I will keep a distance but watch of an evening and early am when I can. The cubs will be on meat now, it's been quiet for a couple of months now and I wondered where she got to!     The dog and I sat under a sittie tree last night waiting for a crow. Took ages for them to return but when they did it just so happened a friend phoned me and I missed my chance. It was my fault as I texted him after hearing his shots in the distance. Anyway, as it started to go dark I moved out of that wood to another on slightly higher ground. From there and after a while I heard a Vixen bark in the wood I was just in! Then one more bark! Eventually she emerged and crossed field to my right and out of range. So this morning I was in a good spot by 4:30. Never saw her

    No but excellent choice sir. I had one and a 22hornet over a 12g. Fine guns and very useful.

    No better, intercontinental ballistic rocket fuel! Good job it was only a couple of grains! They were a little bit smoky and inhaling the smoke could give you a respitary disease!

    Baikal record they were. The 22 ammo had no name. The lube was animal fat and oxidised. Shot ok.

    I am seriously considering getting rid of my 22. The wmr does it all for me and there seems to be ammo everywhere for it these days too. Coupled with the fact that my rifle seems to shoot all ammo with satisfactory results too.....

    I don't anymore but 322 I used in 222 and 30wcf. 4350 in 243 and 6.5 Swede.
