  1. Oh well if cwissy says so it must be right. Bless.
  2. Yeah, opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one but when the arseholes start spouting their opinions....well then we are in an even bigger world of .......
  3. That's how it goes sometimes. When your out with a shotgun you need a rifle, when out with a rifle you need a shotgun. It's amazing combination guns are not more popular! Chris will be pleased though. Bless.
  4. That knife looks nifty. How does it start with that blunt end?
  5. ....in a .45"! You bet. Bought some .36" ball and tipped five down the tube. Three rabbits for five shots. 1st bunny shot at 49 paces. Sorry for the gore, struck a bleeder. Shoots lower but plenty of power. Seems to string vertically but good zero windage wise. Completely over the top for lead consumption but heck I would not like to be a fox or something a little larger if called upon to beyond 40yds! SD.
  6. They fixed the rabbit problem by importing vhd despite all the advice!
  7. Don't think the op mentioned clays. There was also no discussion required as to what is better, in fact only one person I think mentioned any issues with double triggers! And I certainly don't need to convince anyone of anything friend. You do mention the driven shoots you load for and side by sides out number super imposed guns, do the side by sides work?
  8. Swapped over many times. No problem mate. Mind over matter thing I guess. Think of steering and clutching and changing gear all at the same time in a fluid motion. Or a hill start using the handbrake, clutch and throttle all together. It's quite easy really.
  9. Double triggers too. Looks really difficult lol.
  10. Never had an issue switching from double to single and back to double triggers ever. I never understood the difficult sighting thingy. If a shotgun fits you don't really look at the gun, it should naturally track and you click it in front. If however it doesn't fit it don't matter how it's made or how much, your gonna miss! Honestly, configuration itself will not determine sucess!
  11. How about a nice SxS side lock ejector with out a mark on it (nearly) for £150?
  12. Pigeon watch, yeah, they booted me out for speaking the truth. Like double standards of a moderator on there! Loads of experts on there to completely dry yet brain for ya ?
  13. And the Mrs usually sorts the rest of the hours and cash....well, mine does anyway ?
  14. Dude, the dumb politicians and experts banned expanding ammo with the handguns. Then they realised that went against the deer act. The deer act forbids non expanding ammo. No other critter falls into that category thus non expanding can be used. It is however our responsibility to be as humane as ever. The allocation for using section 5 ammunition or missiles for other than deer is for humane reasons. Not because non expanding is illegal. Incidentally, solid 22 ammo is lead, maybe not pure lead but lead by default is expanding.
  15. So you don't get the I'm married to a nutter stare then?
  16. Really, where does it say that brother?
  17. Yeah, the prevailing winds have been from the east lately and it may be why her approach changed! She may of smelt you lying in wait! Those cubs are on meat, they won't starve now. They will live on muck if they have to. They just won't be as smart...but smart enough! They will be out on top soon. They may also have the dog or aunt assisting yet! The amount of stuff a Vixen can kill is scary. I once shot a smallish given carrying a full sized rabbit and a large hen pheasant in her mouth at the same time! Whilst it is easy to become emotional about the cubs it is still
  18. Bernard's wild boar sausages, coming to a store near you! Sounds good that ?
  19. Cheers stav for the link. One of the red markers is on me! I must be losing it!
  20. Man those lips are tempting.....
