    How can it be a good worker FFS. Its 12 mnths old it would of been only 7months old in Dec.. Cant be a '' Good Worker'' if it anit even had 1 season yet...!!

    good answer, i can see what you mean by wanting to keep a good lump of bull in the mix with other lads, and ive always think if you going to put the bull in or what ever the base line (what ever the breed) then put enough in there .? Prob a 1x bullx grey to a coursing dog then back to 1x bull xgrey, so you still keep enough bull in there for its tenacity = guts+power Yes Bird something like that, People keep dogs that suit them, My two here are lucky if there 1/8 th and my dog you'll be luck if theres even a 16th Bull in them from a good few gen back iv no need for any more Bull in my

    To be honest seen some good bullx's, Two stand out over the rest 3/4 and a straight half. Both were good dog at there job... IMO i think Bull X's benift from a touch of Sal in the mix but thats for my own prefrence and type of work and land i hunt on, I know a few lads that keep Bull x's and weaten/bull types and they wouldnt put nothing into there own dogs apart from the same way bred types back across them (And as close as they'll dare), As they are after only a couple of types of quarry (Well since its only rats and rabbits theses day anyway) at most and they dont feel the need too

    Tiny if your cooking trout by that method and don't like it then maybe trout is not for you. That's usually a real tasty way to cook trout.Is the river or lake the trout was caught in muddy or maybe recently stocked ? A nice trout usually doesn't need much fuss made of it to be delicious. That might be cause everyone iv spoke too about diffrent ways of cook all never mind make things complicated just fry in a little oil and butter, Or as i say a tinfoil parcel with just a touch of seasoning and a knob of butter There all caught out of a big reservoir

    Funny you say that cause iv came too the same conclusion, I loved smoked fish can eat it till it comes out my ears... Iv even looked at some home made smokers on the net that look easy enough too make with a few bits here and there, Think ill give it a try next time too see what the difference is,

    Bit off topic here but, The gamekeeper next door always gives me a brace of rainbow trout this time of yr weekly, And to be honest i dont like them iv tryed them fryed in butter and oil in the frying pan and iv done them in the oven in tinfoil with salt/pepper butter and a bit of lemon, Anyone got a decent recipes for them, As i just feed them too the dogs if im honest

    Iv made homemade fitlers out of alsorts, Green use a cider bottle/ lilt bottle, Yellow/orange get another cider sort of bottle, Red use a tizers bottle ect ect, (Just look out for a colour you fancey) Then i just cut it lenght ways up the bottle cut top and bottom off, Get a ceral box cut it open down one of the corners so it opens right out like a flat pack, Unscrew your head on your lamp and wrap the cardboard round it so it fits JUST as it will have to slide on and off easythen trim all the extra cardborad off, Then just do lashing of tape round the cardboard so it goes ridged, Then
