  5. Some of my best ferrets have come for nothing, And ya i do think £20 is a bit much for a kit. However i dont think that a £20 or even a £100 is a lot of money for a Real decent ferret, Theres ferrets and then theres ferrets a real one is worth its weight in gold, Someone says they've had ferrets for 40+ yrs and never had a bad un well your standards are low or youve been very lucky, Trust me theres a lot about these days that just anit up for a decent days work, Been out with more than enough people ferreting and they've put there ferrets throw and too think the setts empty only too put an

  9. A fellah i know has got a 3/4 bred dog, Looks like a straight greyhound big strong dog 27/28'' I rate him, He is a honest big dog and the most nimble dog you see can honestly spins rabbits like a whippet , Got a soft mouth on rabbits and retrevies anything, Great mouth, And jumps like a stag,And a great recovery rate, He's was a singlehanded dog could finsh a fox in seconds (Which i dont is a suprise as i think most mainly GH types will if anit entered too young), He was tailer made for deer work, And if he was a round before the ban iam sure he would of made a real decent type ! Killed a

  16. Iv seen some bad Munty injuryes, Its mainly just skin tears but you do get the odd muscel rip also, Remeber one day a fellah i used too do a bit, Now this dog was a decent deer dog. And iam sure it was the 3rd of the day when he hit a buck and it tore his front right shoulder mucsel, It honeslty looked like youve slashed the dog with a cut throat deep nasty injury that one, Couple of inch deep by 4/5'' long but it didnt half do some damage to the muscel and throw veins/artieres had too take socks off and wrap round the wound as he was loseing some blood and we were a few mile from the c

Ya they'll lose pace ect but there still alot of use's for an experceneced old steady dog....
