    Been getting my pup used to working without a slip and it's most rewarding and enjoyable. Taught her the "wait" command as a pup to stop her jumping out of the motor when I open the boot or to stop her jumping fences before me etc so that was half the battle done. trying to teach mine to jump clear of the subrau instead of 500 cart wheel's been throwing out the door at 40mph.... then on to shouting out watch your toes for these cold froozen nights (Your bitch is looking well fellah maturing nicely)

    I liked two dogs for yrs. But Iost one Sept so only have one. Tbh I like just having the one lamping a few nights a wk here daytime run there and away. Great bond with just one plus won't have a house full of retiered dogs at the same age. In truth somtimes I do wonder if iam pushing that little to hard with the amount iam throwing at him both day/night big and small.. as we all know there's a limit and there's pushing a dog and then there punishing it... If you have the quarry get as many as you need

    Good post andy. And people get a little to carryed away with retreving at 3 4 months justn make sure recall 100%... and things tend to fall into place and just the matter of polishing them off, use hall ways in the house gardens side paths ect.... Build a nice bond and do your best iam sure things will fall into place. Best of luck

    I liked that Fife dog myself. Had capable written all over him, and seemed he'd makes a decent alround animal anyhere (not that boots dont or cant) hence why we all have different tastes. As long as the freezers full and iam having a ball = happy All dogs look in fine fettal fellas

    Thats it feed by eye and work load... I just freeze and feed whole the full lot. Feed as often as you want but variety is key don't forget rabbits low in fat so add fat and/or some carbs
