I couldn't get on with it, I think good nylon beats it in every way, not just pursenets, for longnets nothing beats 4z nylon for tangling rabbits, I mean proper longnets for night netting.
neighbour had one when we were kids in the 70s, first cross black dog, he took everything available, rabbits, hare, fox, and feather. he was racy built with labrador head, my only concern would be a lot of them being to heavily built, good luck.
it's certainly opened my eyes at what they can do, biggest surprise is how good a nose they have, beddywhippets have a great nose, but this whippet is on a par with them.
I don't know if he still breeds whippets, I know glover has a half brother to my bitch and a dog that's bred same as mine, can't fault the breeding but that's down to the chap at pennymeadow
people get obsessed with size and looks, years ago they had novelty acts in circus, come and see the fat tattooed lady.... now they are fxxking everywhere
it will be nice to get the whippet some runs, she's 3 now, she's well capable but it's the opportunitys she needs. I think she's caught more squirrels than rabbits
in north Wales for a few days, last 2 years big numbers, dunes have been full of rabbits, and plenty around the caravan parks, hardly anything this year, can only think it's RHD.
Yes mate, mainly wounds and knicks, you need something handy specially with a whippet, just come to order some and it's discontinued. Just looking for a decent all round ointment
