  1. anyone know why this is no longer available? used it for years on dogs cuts, abrasions, hair loss etc, any decent alternative?
  2. today I have travelled from Derbyshire, through parts of Staffordshire, Shropshire and right through mid Wales to the bottom of cardigan bay were we are staying for a few days, not seen a single rabbit alive or dead.
  3. well they do say, a good dog takes after it's owner
  4. even after 1 he still played hard to get
  5. all dogmen should have a whippet and drink brown beer, none of that foreign fxxking food shite either,...... I drink lager by the way and the occasional babycham.
  6. still a good morning out , what's dog like with the deer? my beddywhippet is fine, but the whippet is a fxxking nuisance for them, I have failed to break her to them so far.
  7. I would think it will suit fine where you are , ferreting, bit of lamping
  8. wish you well with that , it's been same here for a while, a good few young about through spring in standing corn etc, soon as we get to autumn, not a fxxking thing
  9. can't stand anaemic chips, got be brown, best spuds for everything are wilja if you can still get them or georgina
  10. I think it does, good friend of mine had a cracking first cross dog, Black and white rough parti, sired a few pups but never threw a parti colour pup.
  11. parti colour has always been in beddywhippets, even first cross sometimes throws them
  12. same as anything though mate, wild ones taste far better
  13. jumping the gun a bit with this talk of dying mate, they might find a cure for it in bit.
  14. hare numbers have been highest for years here, but dropped off last winter, I think some arsehole has been lamping them, I always think they react badly to the lamp and it's no test of a dog
  15. there will be a posse of hounds and men along soon
  16. I would say it's the decline in numbers that's lead to older generation like me keeping the little whippets and crosses for mooching, odd bit of ferreting, catapult, squirrels, pheasant etc, and younger lads keeping the bigger dogs for shall we say the more challenging quarry
  17. Derbyshire mate, but travelling to coast through Lincolnshire there is nothing, that was unknown years ago, last week went up A1m to Berwick-upon-Tweed saw 1 rabbiti. on side of the road
  18. you know how bad things really are when you can travel miles in many parts of the country and don't see any roadkill rabbits.
  19. if it has rabbits on its called the past.
  20. lovely pup mate, hope numbers are getting better but certainly not from what I have seen in last 7 years it's gradually got worse.
