You’ve upped your game ??
-
Thanks that would be great, I’ll PM you when I get home
-
I’m not sure, I’ll ask him when I see him at the weekend
-
I’ll ask him, see if his sickness benefits will stretch to that
-
Cheers. I’m sure he will be happy with whatever he can have and like I said I don’t have a problem covering the postage for the old bugger

I’ve never watched it, I have seen him live twice and he is funny, but like the rest of them, they tend not to be what people see them as on a stage, I’ve seen chubby brown about half a dozen times, mainly because when I was younger I used to knock around with his son, most people would say he’s racist, sexist and homophobic but I’ve sat in a pub with him and he is none of them thing, he’s genuinely one of the nicest blokes you could speak with, doesn’t even swear, but has created an act that has paid for a very nice life and helped a lot of people along the way, in some ways the same as Paul

You should never judge someone by how they live their life but by what they do with it I went to see him in the 90’s as lily Savage and it was at the time when people still thought Cubby Brown and Jim Davidson were funny, I wasn’t that up for going because I didn’t think it would be my kind of thing, but it is still one of the best comedy gigs I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot, the way he destroyed hecklers was superb RIP Paul

Cheers mate

Very kind, thank you, he’s been getting them off evilbay once he used up what he had and some he’s been paying 10 quid each for and although he’s not out of pocket when he sells the sticks, if he wasn’t paying for them at least 90% of the money would go to the charity

Big hand dig this morning, new water main, found the gas again but didn’t go through it this time

As we know it the start of the roe buck season this weekend, now I have a little request for the few of us that shoot a few, I have a good mate who has is in a bit of ill health at the moment and has taken up stick making to pass the time and raise a bit of cash for “ help for heroes “ he’s after roe head gear, I’d be more than happy to cover the postage if anyone can help out, I’ve given him a few and if I’m out this weekend I’ll see what I can get him, but he’s knocking them out at a fair old rate

We had 9 on Monday evening but couldn’t get on them because of where they were, I’ll be back up late afternoon hopefully for a final doe ( or 2 ) of the season ( freezers empty) there looked to be 3 bucks with the group, one looked to be a cracker, the bucks will be going it alone over the next few weeks, setting up there own territories -
Looks like we’ve got another one that was dropped on their head once or twice as a nipper

I see this as a good move for Scotland, firstly he is of Pakistani origin, Pakistan is one of the biggest smuggling routes for Heroin, ( Scotland likes Heroin ) and secondly once they get independence and realise that Europe doesn’t want them and they can’t have the pound they could become a self funded narco trafficking state and they don’t need the worry about the Muslim side of it because I don’t think you need to halal a deep fried Mars bar
-
Oh dear, so that’s where the gas main was

I was going to put this in view from the office thread but decided to put it here, where I been working over the past couple of weeks is a big spot with 9 acres of land with it, as I’ve got to know the people better they have shown me what there aim is for the place, they are very much nature lovers and they have deer, rabbits and an active fox earth which has produced good litters for the past 15 years, her favourite saying is “ a place for nature “ now I know a few would say they would shoot them but the videos she has shown me and what they have created there is something special and I have -

Last night, missus had some sort of ham and pea pasta with a cream and white wine sauce ( I just made it up as I went along) I had chicken and spinach curry ( they are definitely getting better the more I practice)

If I ever find myself down your way, I’ll be inviting myself to your place for some good old southern hospitality ?

Couple of these to start with before moving onto the JD

I love them and almost bought one a few years ago until my mate started to see quite a few with engine problems in his garage, EGR faults, timing chain tensioner issues, DPF faults

Had a trip up the shoot for a couple of hours this morning as the old girl has been on at me for logs to be chopped, I managed to get a couple of others from the shoot to give me a hand plus the old girl on the Matbro, I thought she must be getting low on logs, the pile in the log shed would outlast me never mind her, but if it keeps her happy we’ll chop more -

I was offered all the loading gear years ago but never took the lad up on the offer, looking back I should of done because setting up now would not be cost effective, so I’ll have to stick with off the shelf, they have all killed well so far -
It’s been one of them weeks
