Back filling on the other job this morning, there’s not much we can do with this until it’s in and had time to settle, it’s very wet, luckily we can have as much free soil as we want from the works on the viaduct over the river

Good bit done today, drain sorted, 40T of type one in ready rolling on Monday, yard outside the shed scraped off

Boarded out today and graded off to get a level, stone in tomorrow and a drain to sort these could be my new favourite customer, they have put in planning to knock the house down and rebuild, offered us the demolition and foundation/drainage work and they are wanting an outdoor arena putting in, seems to be a lot of money here

Breakfast for tea tonight, missus won’t eat tomatoes or black pudding so she gets a couple of things that have no place on the plate

Yeah, that’s part of the reason I chucked my digi card away, I wasn’t a driver so didn’t really need to worry about breaks and thing’s unless I was collecting something down country, I know loads of drivers that have rapped in because of tacho’s, CPC, cameras in cabs all the new hazchem rules, the list of things that stops you doing what was once a good job is endless

I worked with HGV’s for 25 years and I was fine with the old tacho disc’s, then they brought out the cassette type tacho’s that confused me a bit, then came digi card and I just used to put trade plates on everything I took out because I could never remember how to use it ( lol ) every time I downloaded my card it was just a list of mistakes

Was going to go with cottage pie until she said I don’t really like it ( I know, what sort of person doesn’t like cottage pie) so she said she would like a mince dinner, it’s just a deconstructed cottage pie, you loon

Sadly not, that’s my builder mate ( he’s good isn’t he, bloody expensive, but very good ) he’ll let me put blocks down but I leave everything that can be seen to him P.S. I had nothing to do with the end bit of block work that looks like it was pointed up from across the street ( lol )

Most are now, I’ve just renewed my FAC/SGC and had to do it all online, it says it should take 20 minutes, it took me that long to read the first page, the wife done it in 15 minutes, all filled out, picture uploaded and medical form uploaded
