  2. Starting a bit of a fencing job up at a shoot today, lovely spot by the river Tees, this is where all the poor farmers shoot, it’s an eye watering amount of money to be in the syndicate
  3. Homemade meatballs tonight and just for Borr no bright blue tray to distract you
  4. Patched up a bit of concrete around the side of the house, put some second hand sets in at the front and put the gravel down, tidied it up a bit on the cheap

  17. Another Sunday beef dinner, bit more practice seen as she’s just told me I’ve got 8 for Christmas this year and she expects 3 courses
  18. Just a little nothing job today, tidy up some boarder’s, take a bit of box hedge out, set a few sandstone blocks and make a little sandstone step, 5 hours work with two tea breaks, everyone they got round never got back to them, I don’t know why you wouldn’t take jobs like this, they are just easy money and there will always be other jobs come from it
  19. Went a bit Mediterranean tonight, sea bass with a tomato and pepper stew, it was lovely, I think the only way to improve it would be with a few mussels in the stew
  20. I just use one full tin for a normal size pie, I’ve found that the cheaper tins work better because they don’t have a much jelly in them and I keep them in the fridge because it keeps the fat hard so when you mix it it doesn’t all melt straight away which keeps the mixture a bit stiffer
  21. Here goes spuds, corned beef, carrots, shallots, thyme, salt, pepper, veg stock cube, butter, ready roll pastry boil your spuds with the veg stock cube, chop your carrots and shallots and soften in a separate pan with a bit of butter, add the thyme, salt and pepper once the spuds are soft drain them off and add the carrots and shallots mix, add the corned beef and mash together, ( dont add any more butter or milk to it or it will end up a sloppy mess) roll out your pastry but don’t build your pie until your mixture is cold or you’ll end up with a soggy bottom, into the
