  1. A quick story, Mrs Stav always has a new car, it’s something she likes and they are generally quite high end, she’ll keep them a couple of years before putting it in for another while there’s still good money in them. Anyway time came to get shot of the 72 plate A5 so off we went to Audi, where her plan was to put it in and take the new S3 as she likes them having had two in the past. When it came to it the deal wasn’t right so she settled on a new A3 black edition, picked it up about 6 weeks ago, had it 4 days and it wouldn’t start. Went back in, Audi had it 4 weeks before we got it back, 3
  2. It’s on my bucket list to come to your place to have a feed
  3. Basically a ratatouille, but with chilli ( yes the little white dots are chilli seeds, hardcore ) chicken and tagliatelle, doesn’t look the best but it tastes spot on
  4. Doubling the size of one of my pheasant pens today, should of been a winter job this, the flies are mental
  5. I’d appreciate that, somewhere that does chips, because I’ll have to feed her as well ( lol )
  6. That looks top notch that, I’m going to have to pick your brains Mack, the missus has just informed me that we are going to the big smoke in a few weeks for a couple of days and no matter how much I protested, I have to go, any recommendations, I’m not into posh restaurants ( well I am, but unless they do turkey dinosaurs, she’s fu*ked ) I love street food, where I get to try things I’ve never seen before, especially vegetarian, appreciate any tips from someone as well travelled as your good self
  7. Bed edging in, gazebo up, now they have decided they want veg boxes so that will be a Monday job
  8. Chicken, mushroom and spinach pasta, looks a bit boring but tasted ok
  9. Busy old day today, first job putting in ducting and posts at a school for electric gates, second job at another school to replace a lamppost then off to my patio job to start putting the flowerbed edging in, hopefully this job will be done by Friday
  10. Burgers and garlic, black pepper wedges tonight
  11. Gravel down today on the driveway of the everlasting job, the place looks a lot different from when we started about 18 months ago, still some Yorkshire stone to go down around the back of the house and possibly some foundation work for another building but they can wait
  12. That was an excellent game of darts
  13. Both semi’s were cracking, I thought Wade was going to get through, my money is on Hunphries now after his performance last night
  14. Yeah, that’s what you need on a Sunday, is that a touch of apple sauce on the side?
  15. Griddle pan, it’s about burning it a bit, I suppose you could do it in a frying pan what went in it onions, garlic, fresh tomatoes, tomato purée, ginger, salt, black pepper, spinach, cumin seeds, and this shop bought paste, which to be fair is decent, and saves a lot of time
  16. Chicken and spinach bum burner tonight, my Indian mate ( who is a very good cook) told me to griddle pan the chicken until it’s about black, before adding it to the curry, makes a big difference
  17. View from my office this evening, laying on top of the bails to see if anything comes my way
  18. Surely the greenery balances out the chips

    DPF?

You make nothing from selling new trucks, we would tie them into £350 a week R+M contract which they couldn’t really get out of because they need it for the O license, all the dealers are just franchises so most of the big money comes from warranty work and MOT’s
  20. The amount of times I’ve done that the wrong way round is nuts ( lol )

    DPF?

I wouldn’t recommend smashing them out, on the first ones it wasn’t to bad and you could get away with it with a good remap, the newer ones are far more complicated, you have up stream and down stream NoX sensors, delta P, MH3, and more temp sensors than you can shake a stick at, that all have to be rewritten so the ecu sees what it expects to see people always think it’s a major problem when the DPF light comes on and take it to some back street garage who don’t know what they are doing, carry out a forced Re-gen and don’t cure the fault, then say the DPF is fu*ked when in fact the Delt

    DPF?

They do it for better fuel economy, unless you know someone who knows what they are doing with the remap it can cause a lot of problems, when I worked for iveco we had loads come in where people had done it and it costs a lot to put it right, people would blank off egr’s, smash out dpf’s and delete ad-blue for no real benefit, the only one I’ve seen where there was no problems is on a L200
