    Definitely not ? I was all glow sticks, white gloves and whistles ? my mate sent me a video a while back ( I think it’s on YouTube) and I think I’m 17, I look like I’m not quite sure what’s going on for some reason ? very different times and a small miracle that I’ve grown up to be a sensible pillar of the community ?

    In my raving days I remember been snowed in a couple of times around annfield plain and dipton, 6 of us in a Citroen AX trying to get back to Stockton on Boxing Day to go to a all night rave ? happy days ?

    I’m not interested in shotguns, but as soon as I see snow it’s the first thing that comes into my head, flushing a pheasant from a hedge back or a duck off a stream in a winter’s scene, magical ? you always get a bit more of the white stuff than we do up your way, is it the first time the puppy has seen snow

    Proper starting to snow here, the first thing I thought was I want to be out in that for a walk round with the shotgun, but there’s loads to do in the house, do I risk the ear bashing and slip out the back door for an hour ?

    Yeah, I don’t think we’ll be shooting into January, the infection rate is higher around here than it is in tier 4 areas, I hope I’m wrong ?

    Cheers, I think when I’m feeding on Boxing Day I’ll take the proper camera with me, the phones ok but I can get much better colours with the digi ?

    No, we never shoot Boxing Day, I’ll be up there feeding and maybe treat myself to a bit of squizzer bashing ?

    Back up feeding this morning and it’s the first time it’s been a proper winter’s morning, crisp under foot with a very pale sunrise , the birds are still taking the feed and there’s definitely enough in 3 of the drives for another good day, I’ve just got to keep my eye on the news to see if we are getting locked down again, if so, I’ll be putting a day in between Christmas and new year ?

    I’ve shot them front on with the HMR and made a proper mess of them and shot them side on without a mark on them all down to where you shoot them, I shot one a couple of months ago with the .243 and you couldn’t tell what it was when I went to collect it
