Finished off the resin seal on the patio, now boxing in the foundation after taking a walled flower bed down and all the ivy of the side of the house, I don’t think I’ll ever get to leave here, it was only meant to be a 3 week job

All my scopes are SF but the AO is a chunk cheaper

The one I was looking at was 4-16x50, I think the other one is a 4-12x40, I’d go for a little more mag

If I was going to replace the scope on ether one of my .17hmr’s, like Ian I’d fit the Hawke vantage hmr, both my hmr’s have MTC vipers 4-16x50 on at the minute and they are ok, but the Hawke was made for the hmr ?

That looks the same as mine, only with a lot more use ?

This afternoon’s outing was a trip up to some land with Longshanx, getting there around 4pm we headed straight for a small wood at the top of a large field where deer were seen grazing yesterday, now this spot is not ideal as it’s very open getting to it. We got to where we thought they would come out into the sheltered area in front of the trees and sat down in the field and waited, after half an hour the plan was to go for a walk as nothing had showed, as I lifted from the ground and glassed along the trees I noticed a deer, then another 2, we were not close enough for a shot so it was hands
-
Write up a bit later on, bloody hell, we worked hard for these 2, hands, knees and a killer drag across a field to somewhere we could get the motor to ?
-
That’s the same with everything when it comes to the end of it’s season, the amount of pheasants around the farm now is crazy because they know they are safe, well, apart from the one that keeps attacking the old girl, she ordered a hit on him ?
-
I checked my step thing on my phone and it said we did 8.6 miles, I’m out with Longshanx this afternoon, with a bit of luck it won’t be another 8 miles You know you are welcome anytime ?

Its a lovely place to be, the only thing that would of made it better would of been a few fallow in them fields, but it wasn’t to be
-
Well, it didn’t quite go to plan, but it wasn’t a total disaster Me and FOXHUNTER took a trip up to the shoot on the lookout for the fallow, he arrived at mine just before mid day and we were at the shoot a little after 1pm, setting out for a good walk we did the back of Gordon’s pen through part of the drive and headed over the piggeries before walking the length of the oak wood. Not seeing anything, we made our way past the forestry pen back towards the piggeries, just before we came to the track at the end of the wood FH clocked a ground of 3 fallow doe’s, watching them for a while it

I’ve used the LH19 lynx pro and I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like about it, even better is it’s half the price of my pulsar

Welcome to the dark side ? I’ve shot a lot of foxes with mine 99% of them under 100 yards, I like to kill them between 70/80 yards, despite what some say about its shortcomings for fox I’ve not had many run after been shot with it, had a few flip about a bit from body shots but 9 times out of 10 when head shot they drop on the spot ?
-
I’ve been looking at the 612, I found the right handed one for £395, new, for a lefty, £460, we are a proud people and just want to be treated fairly ? I’m going to have a good rummage at the shooting show, see if anything catches my eye

No, we don’t have Birds, it must be something special to beat a gregg’s corn beef pasty, it amazes me how they can fit so much heart burn into one pasty ?
