I’m after a bipod for my .243, now I’ve never really used them, generally I shoot off stick, now my question is would you go for a fixed or a pivot type and what size, I was thinking 6”-9” and any recommendations, Harris, caldwell etc, I don’t want to spend a fortune, please keep in mind where I’m from ??

It’s not what I would of done, I get that he didn’t want a straight path leading from a curved patio to a raised round patio, but it should of been done with 3 deep curves instead of a wiggly line

this worked out about £70 a square meter, all the stuff comes from a company called The Resin Mill, they have just changed the stone, it used to come in 4 bags per mix, 3 at one size and another at 3mm I think it was but there was a lot of problems with colour change from one mix to the next if the timing wasn’t exact, now it still comes in 4 bags but the stone is premixed, you need to be careful with what it’s been put down on, it needs to be solid, it can’t be laid on block or over tarmac, basically it needs to be laid on concrete and if it’s cracked the crack needs to be repaired because th

After the resin I went to grout the patio and path that I’ve been doing with a mate ( his job ) when I got there the owner had marked the path and said “ that’s how I want it “ I said to my mate, you need to talk him out of that and I wouldn’t do that, the customer was insistent and my mate cut it, what a fu*king mess ??

That’s very sad, sorry for your loss, smoking took my old man at 58 and that made me stop, it’s amazing how better you feel within a few weeks but you don’t notice the lack of energy when you are smoking

Resin driveway this morning, again sorting someone’s mess out, the only thing you need to do is get your times right because each mix has to be in the the mixer for exactly the same time or the colour changes, oh and you can’t cold joint it because I can see where the joint is ?

Been up to re-do the trap at the horse paddocks, now we’ve had one small vixen from here in the trap so far, I’ve not had time to go up with the rifle with working 7 days a week because I’m that far behind but with a bit of luck I’ll get up this weekend, he’s had another chicken killed and it took a bit of explaining that the fox will kill what’s outside rather than going in the trap for it, I’ve met 2 of the other lads up there and they both seem spot on and are happy for me to go in there fields, I’ve been told the time that they all leave and lock up and where to park out the way, the amoun

Sandstone path and raised patio, the lad has shown how he wanted the path putting down, I told him there’s to many straight joints but it’s what he wants and it’s my mates job so sod it? it’s got to be cut both sides so it snakes through the garden, lovely people to work for, he’s already asked if I want paying before I’ve finished, I did all the under pinning here and the foundations for the extension, so the Polish builders could start, what a job they have done ?, he paid 330k for the house, 120k for the extension and it’s just been valued at 680k, not a bad return on your investment, he’s
