We have a no ground game rule at our spot, but some used to choose to ignore it and shoot at hares running across the field, Now I have a rule that says if you shoot one you will carry it with you all day, no one shoots at them now ? -

It was 16 degrees when I was feeding today, but lashing down, I had my waterproofs on and was sweating that much I was wetter inside them than out

Up to feed this morning and what a wet, foggy, filthy day, the birds were all doing their best to stay dry in the thick cover, they are coming along well and they are looking like in 2 weeks time they will be good to go, I’m definitely drawing more birds into the piggeries, not all of them mine, when I was going through the centre of the drive I was very nearly wiped out by a fallow doe, I sure it clipped the front of the quad. After feeding the main drives I headed over the valley, where I was greeted by 3 of next doors lads walking the fence boundary, so I thought I’d have a walk up for a li -

Every time I’m at my mates farm the first place I head is the farm scrap pile, old gate tubes, rusty hinges I’ll have the lot, you never know when they come in handy or save me a few quid ?

Arena is coming along, all drainage in, chamber rebuilt ( ruff as fook ?) gravelled up and a bit of farm yard concrete, all strings up ready for retaining wall and fencing middle of next week ?

My view was very similar to that for 25 years, until one day I thought I’m sick of engine’s, gearboxes and always been covered in oil and diesel, so sacked it off ( I was originally an auto elec, then started doing more chemical tanker work and hgv work ) I prefer been outside now, even if the weathers a bit sh*t ?

New job today, turn a waste bit of land into a horse arena, first job to get the drainage in ?

It’s a shame you are not closer to me, I’d let shoot a front stuffer on my shoot, I think it’s something I’d like to see ? -
It would have to be a red one just like the one I had when I was 18, No furry dice but I might had a Garfield to stuck to a window ? I’ve trimmed my pubes if that counts for cutting hair ?

I’m 44 and I’d have another mk2 xr2 tomorrow, as long as I could find my rave tapes and get hold of a 12” sub and some 6x9”s ?

They all do it, Vauxhall use Peugeot/Citroen/fiat, Volvo used to use Renault, Land Rover used Ford and BMW, jaguar’s old 2.0 diesel was just a Ford mondeo engine and so on

The older S3’s are starting to do good money now, obviously they need to be standard and low mileage, a lad I know has a really low mileage s3 mk1, I think its on a S plate, he works for Audi and they offered him 28k for it as a showroom car but he won’t sell it, he said if you have the money the ones to hang onto now are like the missus 67 plate blue one, really low mileage and with some nice extras like hers been the black edition

I used to love the old wedge shape Type-R only car I’ve ever driven that you could lift a back wheel off the ground going around a corner my missus chopped the white S3 in a few weeks ago and wanted a new RS3 but it would be completely wasted on her, she never driven the S3 even in sport mode, so she went for a new A5 cabriolet edition 1, not a quick car but like driving an armchair ?
