    It's the same here in America.Its ok to sit over a deer feeder.Then gut shoot a half grown deer that runs off screaming like a sacrificial lamb to die slowly in a briar patch.But dog hunters are inhumane.

    Mr DC If they have the same patterns as American ones they are on main river in winter but spend the spring and summer in creeks ditches ponds even a mudhole.I believe they can sniff out carp and catfish as they love them.There diet this time of year seems to be more crayfish and frogs.Wintertime they mostly eat fish.Carp and shad.Dont know if they are the same but hope it helps.

    There used to be a black market for snapping turtle.I think they brought $10 a pound but the feds shut it down.Dont cross a stateline or you will get a long vacation.
