Look up cutting horse competition.My fathers partner won one of these with a mule.I knew an old coonhunter who had a mule named Thomas T Radar.That mule could walk a foot log across a big creek.This old man won alot of money betting with other coonhunters. Thanks for the info.Ive seen crazy mules that we're good for nothing.Ive seen a few that were impressive.I always fed our best mule chewing tobacco as a kid.I reckon they love the molasses.I would love to go on a mounted hunt riding a "honky donkey" My fathers quote.

If I remember correctly most of our mules were out of some type of British pony.Welsh Shetland I can't remember others.Thats one reason I asked this.It produced the best coonhunting mules across Dixie.Just wondered if any British men had tried.If you ever run through the woods at night riding a horse you will understand why we used mules ?

Study the rodeo clowns.they have to face every bull every night.Some are willing to go to extremes to save the rider.They make very little money live out of a trailer and get stampeded for a living.

I have tried to find information on mules in Britian.The only info I really found out was with the military.Did know one ever hunt or plow with mules? My grandparents had plowing mules.My father had jumping mules or pony mules or hunting mules all the same.They were usually from crossing a jack to a pony mare.They can hop a fence like a deer.When I got a few lurchers as an adult I almost went and got some more mules as they would work perfect.The mules my father had could jump into the back of a pick up truck.They were small but could carry a large man all night.When I told an English houndsma

When I was a kid it was a big to do going to the rodeo.Us kids would gather at one end of arena.There was half grown heffers at the other end with ribbons tied to their tales.If you caught a ribbon they gave you 10 dollars.Ive seen kids stomped and shit on while the parents were in the stage laughing.The good old days.I can still taste cowshit and see the rodeo clowns laughing.

I feel the same way.I have never done the traditional running of the bulls but I have spent hours at a catfish pond with a big bull trying to get in my hip pocket.No defense but a fishing rod.You know how it is though you must protect your good fishing holes.

I have access to bulls and been invited to give it a try at the local level.I doubt any amount of lockdown even years would make me wanna ride a bull.i have wrestled hogs and Gators and coons.we had hunting mules when I was a kid.My dad used me to help break them.I been kicked stomped and throwed 15 foot in the air.Call me a sissy I aint gettin on a damn bull.

This is the sign at the start of my buddies property.He has kept Dutch shepherds ,malinoise Caucasian mtn dogs now a Presa.The only dog of his that bit me even with him trying to stop it was a working stock German Shepherd she was supposedly from the East Germany communist regime bloodlines but who knows.I have a scar from that bitch.I don't trust any dog.If they have a mouth and teeth they can bite you.

Mr Down south my buddy who I posted his presa.He also has 2 Caucasian mtn dogs.He lives in the middle of the woods by himself.He keeps a pistol on his side.Not for Intruders but to save his life in case it goes bad.He recommends all owners do the same.I could have all these dogs I want but none are here.They are dangerous.he had major surgery about a month ago.The mtn dogs will allow me to feed them as they know me the damn Presa took some sweet talking just to feed the damn pup.

I will take a look thanks.a 100 lb hog can flip a terrier 15 ft in the air.Some will continue to go for the snout.From what I seen dogs in general are born with a style in hog hunting meaning they will gravitate to a certain part of the hog.Nothing you can do to change it.

I would guess that's the boys out west.Search around Appalachian mtns smoky mtns.Those bear hunters would come down here once or twice a year.We had a 500 acre pen with a big mean boar and a 10 acre pen with a big mean boar.We had a lot of fun with them men.They always enjoyed the hogs more because of legging the hog.When you work with your dogs and trust them enough to leg a hog it makes you all tingly inside. This was years ago and all illegal now.

Plott history is very secretive.Its like joining a secret society.Your a plottman or not.I have talked to a few who were close to plott family and there's no proof of bulldog blood Alot of curs and Feist squirrel dogs will be brindle and some of them are scared of a squirrel lol.In the pure lines of plott they will throw a buckskin every now and then.
