  1. Couple of things I thought of to add. In the florida keys the canals are full of exotic fish.Peacock bass,South American cichlids.Christmas is said to be the best time to catch them.Fish for them like small pike in yalls canals. The Christmas lights and sculptures should still be up at the Opryland hotel at new years. It would be worth a walk through even if your not staying there. Its gonna be 90 in the keys but Nashville could have snow. You may need a new wardrobe in each state lol.
  2. Dixie is my stomping ground.I will give you my opinions. Florida-bowfishing stingrays. Most women enjoy the trip as well as the men.Never know what you may see in the dark. Nashville will be mostly country music based.Grand ole opry.Decent mall with large Bass pro shop.If you would like to treat your lady to a nice stay, look at Opryland hotel. Memphis is a dangerous shithole but is saturated with the blues. If that's your kind of music. I would recommend eating lots of cajun food in Louisiana. If your driving through Alabama to Nashville your more th
  3. Sorry for the delay Mr Charts.I picked up the paperwork today.Just waiting on my father to find one.Shipping will be covered. When it's ready to be shipped I will let you know and will need a few more details.
  4. The bobcat was taken by my father. He always said he wouldn't shoot a bobcat unless he had it mounted. When he seen that one he chose to take it.I believe he killed it just a few years back. The story of the gator begins with a good coonhound. When I was a teenager an old man sold me a good coondog named Ike.Word got around about Ike.A man from south of me wanted to hunt against him.Old ike outhunted his dog.The man tried to buy old ike.I told him no.We became friends. He told me his brother was a nuisance gator man in south Florida and would be willing to let us help him.Me and my father qui
  5. It's a 19th century wog piggy bank. My father collects antiques.More specifically black americana. His most prized posession is a wind up toy from 1903.Named Alabama coon jigger lol. Pic from internet.i didn't have one of his.
  6. All legal hunts 20 years ago.
  7. Mr Charts I would be happy to get you one if you are willing to cover shipping.
  8. I love hearing of the lengths men will go to.Thanks yall for posting. Thursday at lunch me and a buddy loaded up the 2 red pups from this litter and left Dixie behind. We drove 9 hours north to deliver these pups. One to a farmer where it will be worked consistently. One to a man who owns a pest control business and is overrun with groundhogs. After a few hours sleep they took us to lake Erie.this hillbilly had never seen a great lake. We limited out fishing for walleye in just 2 hours. I seen my first glimpse of Canada. They cleaned and vacuum sealed t
  9. Out of likes the only happy people I have ever met were dirty dogmen. Litter of 5.they are spoken for except black male on right side.Only reason I would part with him is someone asked me to take their terrier while they shipped out overseas.Dont want to get too many. But he can stay if I dont find the right home. Most Americans won't fit the criteria lol.
  10. Have you ever borrowed money from a loan shark to buy a hunting dog? Have you ever purchased a new vehicle and wore it out in 3 years chasing dogs? Have you ever refused good money for a terrier? Have you ever drove alone to strangers house and repossessed your terrier? Have you ever been given the ultimatum ,"Its me or the dogs" and you chose the dogs? Have you ever shed more tears for a terrier than a relative? Have you ever wrestled a Mustelid? Have you ever fed a terrier salmon and steak while you eat tinned meat made from pig peckers and chicken lips?
  11. The first 2 are poisonous cottonmouths. The last one isnt.hes a banded water snake. Those Mountains are full of snakes. The other day I was walking the edge of the creek and got between 2 different kinds of poisonous snakes. This has never happened to me.As the snakes were right at my feet I became so nervous I began to laugh. Copperhead to the left of me Cottonmouth to the right. Here I am stuck in the middle.
  12. Spent some more time in the Mountains looking for warrior bass again. I bought me a life straw so I could filter water to lighten my load so I could travel faster.Water tasted great. Endangered vermillion darter in the last pic.roughly 2 inches long.took a while to sneak up close enough for a picture.
  13. Can't get blood from a turnip. More than one way to skin a cat. Root hog or Die
  14. I was on foot.I knew I could cover more ground this way as these creeks are extremely shallow.A kayak would get stuck alot. I didn't find anything for the little dogs.No beaver or otter.Me and my father hog hunted this area years ago. This area has produced more trophy size boar than anywhere I know of.They aren't many but there's some big ones.Usually in the mountains in Alabama you hunt boar or turkey.
  15. These fish are actually choosing to go extinct. They are crossbreeding with Alabama spotted bass forcing their own extinction.Biologist are working on a solution but it doesn't look good for the Warrior Bass. Picture of Alabama spotted bass I caught while there.
  16. Alabama has the most fish species of anywhere in North America. Some are endemic to Alabama. One of these species is the Warrior Bass.It only lives in a few creeks in the Sipsey Wilderness.I wanted to catch some before they went extinct.I found a thesis studying these fish from Auburn University and they listed which creeks they found these fish.I spent the last 2 days exploring those creeks.Had a great time.

  18. While eating Sunday dinner with the family my daughter informed me I would be a granddad come September.I dont feel like a grandad.Any advice?
  19. I found it at daylight. It was still limp. There is eagles in this area. The only alive animal I seen in the swamp that day was a dog otter.(assuming a dog based on size)He was about 500 yards from where I found the dead otter.Ive seen otters attack coons and snapping turtles.Wished I would have seen it to know for sure.No damage to the corpse except neck straight to spinal cord.Head is still attached.Just folded under.
  20. Back close to Christmas I was hunting a swamp. When me and the terriers came across a dead yearling otter.Im not sure what could have killed it as otters are as mean as the devil. Any opinions on what could have done this?
  21. Walked a creek today, looking for migrating smallmouth.Found one. Watched an otter hunt.
  22. Hard to answer but 2-6ft in my area. Most of my digs are more root than dirt in the swamp.I carry a few folding saws.2 ft dig this morning.Took an hour lol.
  23. Broke through this morning to the gifted dog mentioned here.He has done great his first season.Working like an old soul for the last six months. He is a credit to his breeder.Im thankful to feed him. The American terriers are like an apple. You see the pretty outside. So you try it.You realize quickly that the peel doesn't taste good. The peel is the peddlers and Facebook heroes. Pretty on the outside but tastes like shit.We dig deeper and reach the sweet part of an apple. These are the people who have a couple terriers and dig when time allows. They generally dont breed terriers.Ju
