    Went back to the creek today.When I started walking I could smell crawfish in the air.The hairs on my neck stood up.I knew there was an otter somewhere upstream. After a couple hour walk I was at one of my best spots.There was the otter. He was going upstream to my next best spot.I knew I had to convince him to come back.An American dog otter has two weaknesses.His vision and his arrogance.I stood still in the creek and squalled like a coon.The otter came back like a torpedo looking for a fight.I stood still.     I've always had an obsession with wanting to know what's around the next creekbend.Left the truck walking yesterday before sunup.Stepped on a snapping turtle round about daylight.Scared him as bad as me. Walked the train track a few hours. Osprey top of dead tree. Eventually I reached part of the creek I hadn't walked.It was too steep to walk down.Luckily I had planned ahead.I had a rope and collapsible trekking pole in my backpack.Tied the rope to a No Trespassing sign and made my way down. I wasn't sure if my efforts would be rewarded. Landed

    A terrier of course.lol.I had to remind my daughter in the hospital that the only reason I have any decent terriers was because an old man gifted her a pup when she was 1 year old. I should be able to give my granddaughter a great great niece of the same pup my daughter was gifted next fall.Having grown up with terriers my daughter isnt as happy about it as I am.

    Ive never been much of a sports fan.I can remember renting videos as a kid of Royce Gracie fighting in some of the first UFC fights back in early nineties. Last night I watched the Bristol Brawl BKB 45.I had never watched bare knuckle boxing before.I loved it.I couldnt understand a word those Englishmen were saying but it felt right to me.Like 2 good Gamecocks shuffling. Anyone else see it or know much about this?

    I enjoyed yalls posts of taking others out fishing.I dont take many people to my good creeks but yesterday I took a friend along.I wanted him to have a memorable day.Hes a very experienced bass fishermen so I knew it would be a hard order to fill. We left the truck at daylight.Started catching Spotted bass immediately We fished upstream for 8 hours.Catching bass on every stick,rock or truck tire in the creek.I took a 6 foot fall off a rock ledge around lunch.Bruised me up but nothing was broken.Kept on fishing.     Still got the tri color terrier.I think hes done 5 seasons. I'm currently breeding from this dog below. I bred him to his half niece this past spring.Got a few pups.Fingers crossed. I also have a bitch from a friend's family of terriers.I took her for her first trip in the kayak yesterday.

    I've always been fascinated by the different tools I have seen different people use.From chainsaws to backwards bent pitchforks.When I'm digging fox or groundhog I use traditional tools.In the swamps in a kayak different rules apply.I need lightweight disposable tools designed for digging roots in between trees.I just replaced some of my tools for the start of the season. Went to hardware store. I put a square hook in the end of the industrial broomstick.This walking stick helps me get up and down muddy banks by hooking tree roots.It can also be used as a chew toy for a

    Took a few camping trips this summer. Back in May I decided to try to pack as light a backpack as possible so I could walk with my camping gear on my back and fish on the move in the sipsey Wilderness.. When I found some whitewater I knew I would camp here. My first attempt at ultralight camping was a success. June and July the rivers was flooded or it was 100 farenheit.This past Monday we had unusually cold weather.So I skipped work and left out in the kayak.Caught some good smallmouth.     Bravecto gets my vote for house dogs. As far as the discussion of wormers there's more to it than meets the eye.At least as it applies to Alabama.     Couple of things I thought of to add. In the florida keys the canals are full of exotic fish.Peacock bass,South American cichlids.Christmas is said to be the best time to catch them.Fish for them like small pike in yalls canals. The Christmas lights and sculptures should still be up at the Opryland hotel at new years.It would be worth a walk through even if your not staying there. Its gonna be 90 in the keys but Nashville could have snow.You may need a new wardrobe in each state lol.

    Dixie is my stomping ground.I will give you my opinions. Florida-bowfishing stingrays.Most women enjoy the trip as well as the men.Never know what you may see in the dark. Nashville will be mostly country music based.Grand ole opry.Decent mall with large Bass pro shop.If you would like to treat your lady to a nice stay,look at Opryland hotel.     The bobcat was taken by my father.He always said he wouldn't shoot a bobcat unless he had it mounted.When he seen that one he chose to take it.I believe he killed it just a few years back. Thursday at lunch me and a buddy loaded up the 2 red pups from this litter and left Dixie behind.We drove 9 hours north to deliver these pups.One to a farmer where it will be worked consistently.One to a man who owns a pest control business and is overrun with groundhogs.After a few hours sleep they took us to lake Erie.this hillbilly had never seen a great lake.     Out of likes the only happy people I have ever met were dirty dogmen. Litter of 5.they are spoken for except black male on right side.Only reason I would part with him is someone asked me to take their terrier while they shipped out overseas.Dont want to get too many.But he can stay if I dont find the right home.Most Americans won't fit the criteria lol.
